great bit of kit does the job well

Just bought this item to prevent any cleaning spray getting on Disc Brakes. Easy to use and well worth the money.

Great idea, cleaning the drivetrain without contaminating the brakes or environment, but in practice I don't find it a good solution. Firstly, the guard is awkward to fit on my 11sp. It takes a minute or 2 of messing around with it, then it collects the cleaner very well, but afterwards you're left with a pool of contaminated gunk that you're not sure what to do with. The guard itself looked a mess after the first time I used it too, so because it's mucky and fiddly to fit, I don't bother using it now. Lastly, the chain cleaner brush I received was oversized, perhaps made for a motorbike chain. So rather than cleaning 2 or 3 sides at once, it actually cleans 1 or 2. Great idea then, at least in theory, but the brush should be better and the guard is a grime magnet that's time consuming to fit.

I wanted to like this product and was seduced by the marketing, however in reality it didn’t live up to the hype. What I liked: - the idea of capturing all of the degreaser and gunk was a good one - caught some of the degreaser but not all - kept spray off my disc brakes What I didn’t like: - it’s flimsy and not that easy to fit - the instructions with this are poor - didn’t capture all of the degreaser and plenty still ended up on the floor - it leaked when removing - a hassle to get on and off - the products that came with it didn’t perform, the degreaser was poor compared to something like Mucoff, and the chain cleaning brush was just useless - wanted to like this but I won’t be using again

Brilliant and easy to use. Also the cleaner and lube are good.

I was expecting it to be simple to use and it was. this is a simple bit of kit, nothing fancy about it, used it once and it saved time and my cassette is nice and clean with no mess. Putting some paper toweling in the catching try at the bottom really helped. How much longevity it has I don't know yet, but it seemed ok.

Does the job and makes what can be a very messy job much cleaner. My chain runs much quieter and smoother after cleaning it with the degreaser and using the lube.

Grime guard wasn’t as easy to use as I thought it would be and a little flimsy. Chain lube and cleaner good.

Ich war überrascht, wie gut und effektiv der guard funktioniert… „windiges Plastik“ habe ich mir zunächst gedacht, aber wie dann der gesamte Dreck runter gekommen ist, war ich sehr happy

Zur Kettenreinigung sehr gut geeignet. Etwas fummelig zu montieren. Kommt aber sicherlich auf die Rahmenkonstruktion an. Hochwertiges Material. Beim notwendigen drehen der Kette also des Rades dreht sich die Scheibe immer mit. Das macht es etwas kompliziert. Aber an sich eine Hilfe um den Rest wie Felge und Speichen vor dem Kettenreiniger zu schützen. Bürste ist durch die 3 Seiten eine super Hilfe.

Bürste, Reiniger und Kettenöl sind Okay, die Schutzschablone ist fummelig und unnötig, im Nachhinein komme ich mit Lappen zum Schutz der Bremsscheibe besser zurecht.

Die Scheibe fällt in hohem Bogen beim Drehen des Rads ab. Der bis dahin gesammelt Dreck verteilt sich überall hin. Der Cleaner hält bei weitem nicht, was er im Video verspricht. Das neue Schmiermittel ist so flüssig, dass es sich nicht lange auf der Kette bzw. Ritzel hält. Und eine Rücksendung geht nicht, weil es gefährliche Stoffe sind. Schrott
