Custom Dynamics MAGIC-STROBES-RSG Magic Strobes Brake Light Flasher (for Harley-Davidson 2014-2020 US Touring Models)

I installed this in my 2018 Road Glide Special in a few minutes. Probably takes longer to take the seat off and put it back on. Works great and really makes brake lights more attention getting, which is critical when you ride a street bike. I have it on setting 6 which is the blaster strobe setting - if drivers don't notice this they must be blind! Plug and play, highly recommended!

Installed on my 2019 FLHRXS and it works great. This is a great addition for your LEDs. They haven't updated the fitment yet but you can look up MAGIC-STROBES-RSG on the Custom Dynamics website for fitment. It says this will fit '14-'20 Touring Models. Pay no attention to the low reviews because it clearly states that it does not work on a halogen bulb nor does it make your blinkers flash up front. Take off the seat, unscrew the negative terminal, unplug your harness, plug it into the strobe module, pick a flash pattern, secure it and put your seat back on. People will definitely see you!

2/8/23 update 17 streetglide. Plug and play. Easy install. Works great. After 5 years it stopped working, I got in touch with CD and was told to ship it to them so they could check it out and fix it. Only issue was they told me it shouldn't have worked for all my lights and that's why it probably stopped working. So any of you guys have more than just your 2 little turn signal/run/brake lights may be out of luck if it goes out. I had my tour pack and turns signals running off mine.

Part fit great, however my first ride my friend asked my if I was messing with him because every time I put on my left turn signal to turn left my right rear turn signal was coming on. I decided to investigate and pulled some wiring diagrams online, since the bike worked flawlessly before the module installation I knew something was either bad inside the unit or the pins had been flopped from the incoming and outgoing of the unit. I quickly discovered the turn signal pins did not match what was the incoming side and what was the outgoing. I could have sent it all back and got a new one but that would take days and I am a master mechanic, I de-pinned the connector and flopped the two inner wires on one end and put it back together and everything worked like it should. Took me 5 minutes, might take someone else longer.

I love this item. I installed this on my 2018 FLHTKL with only 1 minor issue. The picture in the instruction manual is completely wrong for my bike. The picture shows the black connector of the 2 connectors along the frame rail as the one to use. The actual connector for my bike is located between the frame rails where the front of the rear fender passes between the frame rails. Once I found the correct connector, everything was perfect. I highly recommend this product to make a bike more visible while stopped at traffic signals.
