The SportArt A989 Hack Squat targets the quadriceps mucles, or quads, on the front of your thighs. The A989 Plate Loaded Hack Squat allows you to use Olympic plates with a 2" center hole for resistance. Load your plates onto the long weight horns on each side of the carriage. A wide and tall angled squat plate at the base of the machine allows for a variety of foot positions for exercisers of all heights to vary the angle and muscle focus during hack squating exercise. Large shoulder pads provide comfort along with conveniently placed padded handle bars as well as access to easy to reach carriage lock handle. Linear bearings create a smooth, quiet motion and are fully enclosed for safety. Store your plates while not in use on the four weight posts attached to the rear frame uprights. The welded heavy-duty steel frame has stylish, sleek lines created through oval tube steel. Major frame pieces bolt together allowing easier transport prior to assembly. Electrostatic powder coating insures the finish is resistant to scratches and dings for a long term beautiful finish. Heavy-duty vinyl cushions are comfortable and durable for club use. Rubber non-skid feet cover base frame supports to avoid sliding of machine or scratching of floors.
