Stasher Silicone Bags: The Eco-Friendly Storage Solution
Stasher Silicone Bags have become an integral part of my kitchen and daily life. These reusable, eco-friendly bags have not only reduced my plastic waste but also elevated my food storage and on-the-go snacking experience. First and foremost, the versatility of Stasher bags is impressive. They come in various colors and sizes, from snack-sized to gallon-sized, accommodating everything from leftovers to sandwiches. Plus, they're airtight and watertight, keeping food fresher for longer. The durable construction is a real standout feature. Made from high-quality silicone, these bags can withstand high temperatures, making them suitable for sous vide cooking to microwaving. They're also dishwasher-safe, making cleanup a breeze. The seal is incredibly reliable, preventing any spills or leaks, whether I'm carrying soup in my bag or marinating meats in the fridge. This gives me peace of mind when transporting food. What I love most is their eco-friendly aspect. By using Stasher bags instead of disposable plastic bags, I've significantly reduced my plastic waste. It's a small change that can create a big impact on the environment. Their transparency is also a plus. I can easily see what's inside each bag without having to open it, which helps me stay organized in the kitchen. For my personal collection, I've purchased the smoke and clear bags. With the clear bags, I try to avoid any foods that can stain it such as red pasta sauce, anything turmeric based, and etc. In conclusion, Stasher Silicone Bags are a game-changer when it comes to sustainable food storage. Their versatility, durability, and eco-friendliness make them a must-have for any kitchen or storage of daily household items. Whether you're meal prepping, storing leftovers, or just trying to reduce your environmental footprint, these bags are a fantastic investment. I highly recommend Stasher bags for their convenience and positive impact on the planet.

Great for toiletries when traveling!
Purchased this to put my liquid toiletries in for travel and it works like a dream! This is a high quality bag and I recently took a round trip flight from Colorado to Washington and no mess or leaks. Despite this Stasher being large, I am able to fit it inside a Herschel Dopp kit with plenty of room to spare for my electric razor, toothbrush, comb and a few other items.

The End of Stasher Bags
I've purchased over 75 Stasher bags, believe it or not. For the first few years, they were worth the inflated prices. The original bags were as advertised: made of premium silicone and able to withstand almost anything. The silicone was sturdy, dense, and pliable. The texture was buttery. The pinch seals were secure and always kept the contents safe. They never ripped, tore, or melted. I was Stashers' biggest fan. NOT ANY MORE. Sadly, Stashers have changed for the worse. The silicone is not "premium"; it is cheap, flimsy, shiny, and plastic-looking (and feeling). There is no doubt in my mind that Stashers are now being made from a combination of plastic + budget silicone. Food-grade silicone is supposed to be flexible and should not turn white when bent, as that indicates the presence of cheap fillers. All of my recently purchased Stasher bags form a white line when bent. None of my OG Stashers do. (IMO) The molds used to manufacture the bags have changed (as evidenced by differences in shape, exterior, and interior), and the pinch closure has been significantly affected. The bags are smaller and less sturdy than the originals; they weigh less and have closures that only cover the very top of the bag. Previously, the pinch closures extended about an inch from the top, allowing the user to easily add contents via the wide-mouth opening and seal the bag tightly all the way around the top and top corners. Original Stasher stand-up bags stayed upright (even when empty) because the substantial, premium OG silicone was strong enough to maintain the shape, whereas the newer stand-up bags simply flop over. It appears that Stashers are now made using a different molding, curing, and seam-bonding process—the seams are (poorly) melted/weakly bonded during manufacturing. Meaning the bags literally PULL APART at the seams! Phoning Stashers customer support connects to the SC Johnson customer service department in the Midwest. The caller ID reads "SC JOHNSON". How and why Stashers continues to claim they are an all-women-run small business is beyond me, given that SC Johnson (which acquired Stashers in 2019) is about as far from a "small business" as it gets: SC Johnson generates approximately $13 billion in annual revenue, manufacturing household brands like Ziploc, Glade, and Windex; it is one of America's largest private companies, with roughly 13,000 employees — Impressive stats for a "small business". And while I'm at it, isn't it a conflict of interest that they manufacture and sell Ziploc baggies and Stasher bags…? The shift to subpar, non-premium silicone and cheaper manufacturing aligns with typical cost-cutting measures when large corporations acquire specialty brands—a classic post-acquisition move that prioritizes profit margins over the customer loyalty that built the brand. When customers see the 'Small Business' badge on the Amazon Stasher Store (or the Stasher website), they reasonably presume they are supporting a small independent company, not a subsidiary of a major conglomerate. Over the holidays, I purchased several Stashers from the Stasher Amazon store and from the Stashers website. Every one of them is further proof that Stashers (as we knew it) is gone. I ordered three more yesterday, hoping that maybe the 15+ Stashers received in the last couple of months were just a "bad batch." I hoped the newest three would be ok. Nope. ALL batches are bad now. All newer Stashers are made from substandard, questionable silicone in a shoddy manner, and they all split at the seams. The only thing that hasn't changed is the price. Very disappointed. ˙◠˙

Great for multi use!
Mainly purchased this to store breast pump parts in between use while at work in the fridge ( just something I'm comfortable with doing), wish I could buy a ton of these to replace plastic bags for food storage!
