was very good for night time moth trapping. White light is very bright and the red light did the job required of it.

I bought this led headtorch for nightscapes and astro-photography as the red light prevents you from losing your nightvision, or interfering with the cameras lighting as much. 4/5 stars. It feels a little bit flimsy but it is to be expected for the price as it doesn't cost much. It fits well and is adjustable for your head size. I prefer that it's battery powered as it's one less thing to worry about plugging in to the power bank. Good value for money at what it costs. Luminosity is also relatively good for (again) the price.

Not the strongest light in the world and you have to filter through the button to get the right light but very good for the price you pay. I lost it outside, it rained all night and when I found it the next day it worked perfectly 👌

Got this for a cadet camp for my daughter, specifically for the red light. I got it a month before she needed it (almost planned!). She took it and used it, telling me it was just right except the rubber function switch cover came off almost immediately. This leaving the control open to water ingress. Luckily no rain so she could continue to use it but poor show.

This headlamp is reliable and it doesn't have a lot of special features except that it has easy access to redlight. It also runs exclusively off of batteries. This is generally a downside, it's fine because I have rechargeable once but be aware that you need them for this headlamp. It's 3 AA batteries, I believe. They seem to last for a long time. This headlamp doesn't fall under the mega bright category that some of them do, it's bright, but some of them are crazy bright. This one is moderately bright. It illuminates a room comfortably and you can read a book using them if there is a need for that. I think a lot of people opt for the really bright ones and the ones that charge by USB, this is a good backup pair to have. I have rechargeable batteries and it's nice to know that I always have these if I have forgotten to charge everything else. The red light is also an excellent feature.
