Decent solar panel, gains around 25 - 31w
I have used this to charge a Anker Prime 27,650 mAh Powerbank, it charges at around 25w which isn’t 40 but it’s still good. (I have only used the USB-C and USB-A, I am yet to use the DC 5521 (next review I will have). The output is more that what is said by FlexSolar which is great, no complaints there. It is a little expensive but for the purpose of being portable, it’s great. Very easy to use, it even has a red light which activates when the solar panel receives enough light to create electricity. Updated Review with DC & Anker C200: Yesterday, I charged 90% in a full day which adds up to 54,000mAh / 60,000. Keep in mind I also charged a full phone which adds up to around 3,500mAh. The solar panels are pretty decent, on a good day, in a good position you could get up to 31w through the DC cable. (It is a DC5521) I do consistently get around 25w in full sun, no clouds at around 90 degrees. It is a decent panel which does require strong amounts of sunlight. If you have the extra £10 (when on sale) I would definitely prefer to get the 60w rather than this 40w since the output is around 62% than what is claimed.

Just the job
Pretty decent solar charger with USB, USB C connections. Worked well, easily charging phones, laptop and power bank. Even when cloudy it worked, albeit a bit slower. I used it laid on the floor and attached to the side of my tent, both to good effect. I would have given 5 stars if the sockets had some sort of waterproof protector. Still a very good product though.

Thumbs up
Its enough to run 3 phones, 2 sets of wireless headphones, a 2 bike battery array (and occasionally a Samsung tablet + emergency power bank/bike battery booster and radio) for literally 24/7 (on a sunny day ofc, today was cloudy, so no tablet to preserve the charge). Does it output 19V? Nope, Best I saw was 12.8 via DC direct connection, however, that is still amazing and quoted cap is under ideal conditions). Folds small enough for a backpack (and has space in the middle when folded for the tablet, damn efficient) enough for off the grid living (until your batteries die as needs a buffer). Would have bought a second one if not for the price being raised from 35 to 50 squid.

Works ok, but bulkier than expected
This panel seems to work fine, based on experience charging a powerbank, rather than measuring its output with any kind of meter. Over about 4 hours on a sunny afternoon in the UK it added 15% capacity to a 20000mAh powerbank. The one point to be aware of (nearly lost it a star) is that it is bulkier than I expected; it doesn't fold very flat, and the connector housing makes a bump on one side that looks a bit vulnerable to knocks. I got this intending to throw it in a rucksack, and it will need more careful packing than I expected, maybe with some underwear filling the space in the middle, and something wrapped around it.

Unusable
This product didn’t do what it said it would do. I tried to charge my smart watch and tablet. It did nothing in fact the battery on the tablet lost power. So I tried to charge the watch alone. It barely charged it to above flat. This was tried in full sunlight and on cloudy, still didn’t work.

Can deliver 40w!
Under direct sun close to the equator, my Mac book reported this as a 41w power connection! I have not tried any other power monitors. What I can say is everything was charging fast. I tend to use it on the beach, to charge a power bank, which runs a Starlink mini all day long! That setup keeps the kids happy with internet, which provides some peace. It’s a small panel, about the size of a Mac book 13. Easy to chuck in with other beach gear. Seems very robust.

No customer service when it stopped working!
Absolutely loved this charger and in direct sun was able to charge up two hefty power banks a day between March and Sept. Was able to then charge power all mobiles, ipads, laptop etc without needing to use any mains power. However, it stopped working after 8 months for no apparent reason. The retunr windo on Amazon had closed so I was directed to product support which went direct to the FlexSolar website (which I believe is in the US). Their live chat basically was useless, probably tried a dozen times, nobody responding even when tried during US working hours. Also had no response from emails to them. Shame as I would give this product 5 starts had it not stopped working.

Nice product
Pros: it supports fast charging. easy to carry , you can fold it Cons: it absorbs the sun heat aggressively Which will makes it slows down the charging speed , this is normal but really annoying because i have to wait more to charge my device

Prima zonnecel
