I purchased this product because the one from the pharmacy started leaking. I liked the large size of this item, however, the amount of gel is so little that if you lay it down, it's a barely enough to spread out inside the envelope, and as a result, doesn't stay cold for very long.

Perfect for back ache or for larger areas. Also moulds to the shape of your body so you can wrap around leg or arm. I like this product because it is a sport product made for pain. I wanted to also get the smaller size but only had this available. Great product. Highly recommend. Must lay flat in freezer so takes up a little bit of room but worth it. Thank you.

Great ice packs that were very helpful for knee replacement surgery. Used the Large to go on top of knee, and medium to go underneath and they worked well. Gel was flexible enough to wrap over knee, wasn't a frozen block of ice. Stay cold for over an hour, we purchased two of each size to rotate them in the freezer. Very durable nylon, or of gym bag or backpack material, we saw no damage or leaking. Best to wrap in a towel but thats true for any ice application on a bum knee.

...I do not think people realize how powerful using a cold ice pack is to repair the body. Let me tell you!...you need to leave this item on any part of the body where you have pain for at least 20 mins. When you have the ice pack on the painful joint or muscle, its gona hurt real real bad when you applie the ice pack. The more pain you can take the better. The colder you can take it the better!! Its gona get real cold! and hurt! But what this dose it draws out all the old bad built up rubbish that gets stuck deep in the connective tissue in the joints and the surrounding area. All the old dead blood cells and toxins are drawn completely out of that area and pumped right back through to the heart where all the rubbish is filtered out and purified by the heart, which allows new fresh white blood cells and healing substances back deep into the affected joint and then the real healing begins. Its always best to take vit c ( ascorbic acid ) and hydrolyzed collagen and vit E and glycine and L glutimine (1 teaspoon of each) with 25 mg of vit b 6, (The b6 and L Glutimine when combined create GABA in the body and help you relax and repair) mixed in water or slightly warm milk half hour before you begin the treatment. That way the body has the right substances flowing around the body at the same time as you applie the ice pack. One thing to remember always use a thin sheet of cotton between the ice pack and the skin to avoid ice burns. Right after the treatment you may not feel any better or it may feel worse. But the next day you will feel great relief. Keep applying this technique each day or every two days until fully recovered. If you can not take the full pain for 20 mins just take the ice pack off for a few mins. Take note of the time and when the pain has reduced re applie the ice pack and start timing your self again. Untill you have done a full 20 mins.Remember that with any problem movement is key and gentle use of the muscle or joint always will help in recovery. Please research these things for your self to see.Your body is a magical machine and if you just give it the right substances every day for a long while it will repair its very easily!! Try the ice pack on your stomach for 20 mins! It can realy help repair deep deep in the guts where all the magic is happening!There is also a book called the water cure you might want to look up!....Don't forget your raw smoothies!! The micro nutrients,....Uncooked !!...are so SO important for your body to function normally,.... and lastly RESEARCH AND BUY FREE FORM AMINO ACIDS! Qualitativ extrem gut verarbeitet, auch nach einem Tag bei Superfrost noch flexibel und halten die Kälte ziemlich lange. Ich habe mir nach einer Kreuzband-OP 2 der Kühlpads bestellt, um mein Knie daheim kühlen zu können und habe echt gar nichts an diesen Pads auszusetzen. Sie wiegen recht viel, weil sie gut gefüllt sind und dadurch auch lange die Kühlung aufrecht erhalten können, sie lassen sich super ans Knie formen(funktioniert mit anderen Gelenken garantiert auch) und sie fühlen sich absolut hochwertig an, werden also wahrscheinlich lange halten.
