Working
These work great so far. To whom this might be of interest, they work well using 3.3v as well.

Laser sensor module review
good laser transmitter, receiver board could be better, maybe flexibility for the headers to choose a better orientation but overall pretty good.

Works Well
Works well and interfaced well with ardunio.

Works great but PCB is low quality and pin orientations are not optimal.
First let me say that if you just want to experiment, these work great! Don't expect an easy way to set them up though, as there are a few things to note: - Make sure not to put the sensors on backwards! Use the reference images from the listing. DON'T align the bump on the silk screen with the bump on the component! - The PCB for the sensor is one sided! This means the the pins that attach into a breadboard cannot be flipped onto the other side of the PCB. Very low quality but works. This also means new pins cannot be attached on the other side easily to change board orientation when attaching to a bread board. - With the way the pins are installed on both modules, it makes the modules point straight up/down, which is very annoying. I opted to replace the laser pins with straight pins on the opposite side of the PCBA. This makes it much easier to work on a table. The same goes for the sensor module, but at least the sensor itself has thin leads that can just be bent upwards.
