Application is great, if you follow the instructions exactly.
I love this color. This is the third time that I have ordered this color. Because it works so well, I decided to order the three pack. I was born a blonde, and my hair started getting darker sometime in my early 30's, I am now blonde again and am determined to stay one. Application is great, if you follow the instructions exactly. Reread them repeatedly before you do anything to your hair. Understand exactly what if happening with these products. The pre-color treatment is for people, like me, who use this touch up a previous coloring. Do not put this on your roots (the part you want to color) at all. Put it only above the roots and out to the ends. If you have never colored your hair before, use the instructions on the right side of the page. The left side is for those who need to treat roots after being colored previously. If you do not follow this you can do serious damage to your hair. That is why I recommended reading the instructions so many times. Treat the instructions like you would a cooking recipe. Make sure that you know the recipe and the you have all of what it entails. Using chemicals on anything can cause damage if it is not used correctly. If you do not follow the instructions, it is not L'Oreal Paris's fault. It is yours. As an aside, I wish there was a color that DOESN'T color the gray. My "gray's" are white and silver and I like them. I wish I could just color the other hairs.

L'Oreal Excellence Blonde Supreme
This product is probably the best I will get to the platinum blonde I desire. It did make me a very very light strawberry blonde, still very pretty and plan on alternating every 6 weeks with highlighting with cap for the blonde in a highlighter. This product really is kind to your hair and makes your hair shine. I never thought I would see the day I actually liked red, but this is a really nice color. So if you want platinum, you probably would need a bleach and I would choose L'Oreal blue the tub along with a developer. This kit, the Excellence Blonde Supreme has a 30 developer in it and is as close to the blonde as you can get before bleach. The 4 stars is the fact that there is some orange tint at the roots, rather than platinum like I wanted, but still is a nice color. I figure alternating with highlighter will give me the color I want without too too much platinum and a more natural look. I do like this product very much. 5/22/2014 I noticed my hair at the roots has gotten darker as I have gotten older, no gray, but chances are that is why I got the slight orange tint at the roots, so I don't necessarily think it is the product. I plan on buying this on a regular basis it has a very natural look and doing highlights in between, just to touch up.

Beautiful color and it covers the grays
My wife is this hair color to color her gray hair she uses a primarily for her roots and it does the job. Perfect! It covers her gray hair and it is so easy to use. It comes with a very nice conditioner that she loves so much!

The color was perfect it's described as a champagne blonde which means it's not dark one it's not medium blonde it's in between a dark one and a medium blonde with more of the blonde in it my hair is so often silky right now so that's why I'm describing the color and how old makes your hair feel soft. I would describe my hair as medium to dark one I needed to cover up my gray which did the job that I wanted it to do but I was hoping that I could get the shine and me updated it's covering my gray hair it was close to 100% covering my gray. Amazing color give it a try.

Have tried a lot of hair colors but hey dont provide proper grey coverage and dont last long. This one provides full coverage and lasts for upto 3 weeks. it provides better shine as well. loved the product.
