Great recording. Amazing concert. Rock music lovers of all sorts should grab this. It's a great way to see Simple Minds if you haven't already. I recommend this to those that have never seen them, and to those that want to see them over and over again. They look comfortable and relaxed and are in top form. A great show and a great addition to any fan's collection.

I'm a huge SM fan so take that into account, but this is a great CD and DVD. Great quality, and brings back so many great memories of me seeing them live in their 80's heyday.

This is a great performance from a band who have been putting on great shows 4 years. If you were lucky enough to catch them in the 70's this will bring you back to that time. This show is both mesmerizing and timeless.

This concert is awesome! I love how you get the DVD, which works in US DVD players, and the CD so you can watch it and listen to it in the car! Simple Minds hasn't lost a thing, in fact, with this new line-up they are better than ever!

Quality product. Great concert, great song selection. I always liked Simple Minds live album "Live from the City of Light" but always missed the inclusion of "All the Things She Said" This collection remedies that and includes DVD of Concert.

Great CD and audio nice to see Mel back in the drum seat and they care for THIER FAN BASE!

Fantastic live show! Set list is excellent. SM is INCREDIBLE live. The production and sound are top notch here. Would have preferred some detailed liner notes about the show but that's the only complaint here. 5 stars!

Soy fan de Simple Minds desde sus inicios, pero, reconozco que me lo pensé más de dos veces a la hora de decidirme. Después de tantos años, pensé que su directo habría perdido mucho. Leí la opinión de otra persona, y decidí comprarlo. Y para nada me arrepiento. Es un grandísimo concierto, con un gran directo, capaz de transportarte a épocas anteriores. Para mí ha sido una sorpresa muy grata. Aún siendo fan, y aveces perdiendo un poco la objetividad, reconozco que el dvd no me ha decepcionado en absoluto. Gran compra. Sólo lamento no tener un home cinema mejor para poderlo disfrutar más.

Comment un groupe aussi bon et ancien a t-il fait pour produire si peu de DVD live ? Enfin on apprécie maintenant, c'est très bon, le son est bon, l'image parfaite (pas de changements trop rapides). Pour pinailler je dirais que c'est dommage qu'il manque des morceaux de l'époque 1989 - 1995 (albums Street fighting year, Real life et Good news from the next world) qui pour moi était la meilleure.

The rebirth of Simple Minds coincided with them embracing their whole back catalogue and unashamedly giving the fans what they want. This is a great gig with great songs, The band are on fine form and the crowd are with them the whole way. I don't think the new material is up to the standards of their previous work and granted I long for the sound of Forbes and McNiell but there was a magic about Simple Minds going back to the days of I Travel, Love Song, Sweat In Bullet, The American, The music for that time was phenomenal, then they went very mystical and imperious with New Gold Dream, before the subtle was replaced by the mainstream rock element, but it was all progression. The point is that all these songs have stood the test of time and sound as fresh today as they did way back when Jim Kerr threw shapes and called it dancing and white baggy trousers were acceptable when tucked into black leather ankle boots! The one thing on the album that I found irritating but funny was the amount of times Jim Kerr says 'Let Me See Your Hands' kind of wish they had edited a few of those out, but it's a minor thing and i actually find it funny. Simple Minds kind of lost their way in the late 90's and early noughties but they never stopped being a class act live and this is very much proof of that. Long may they continue to Shine On

Acquistato due anni fa, lo recensisco solo ora dopo aver ascoltato con delusione l'ultimo live della band. A differenza di In The City Of Angels qui ci troviamo di fronte ad un vero album Live, certo le tracce sono meno ma la resa sonora è a mio parere decisamente migliore. Ascoltando i CD si respira aria di concerto, la voce di Jim è in piena forma, c'è interazione col pubblico ma soprattutto c'è continuità tra i brani (come dovrebbe essere un vero album live). A mio parere l'unico vero Live dei Minds dopo Live in the city of lights e Verona. Fantastico.
