I had my windshield replaced, but afterward, the automatic wipers stopped working. I scheduled a technician to come back and fix the issue, but they never showed up. A week later, I rescheduled the appointment, and during that time, I considered using a repair kit I had purchased, debating whether to do the work myself.When the technician finally arrived, he replaced the gel pad, and while the automatic wipers started working again, they were not as responsive as they had been originally. I attempted to readjust the gel pad, which improved their performance, but they still felt a bit sluggish.Eventually, I decided to try the repair kit. After reattaching the sensor to the windshield, I noticed that the seal looked like the factory finish before the windshield was replaced. So far, the wipers are working much better now.

I watched several videos and read multuple reviews prior to trying this product out. I followed the instructions and was able to succsessfully install the sensor on the windshield. Left it overnight to cure. The next morning it just peeled off with barely any effort. Silicone was still soft to touch. Perhaps I received expired tube but for the money I am not willing to try it again.

This kit is absolutely essential to install a rain sensor. In my case, my car is Lexus RX350 2013. To install it, first you need to have a brand new rain sensor tape which you must purchase from dealers as aftermarket or whatever knock-offs may not work. Next clean the surface on both sensor and windshield carefully, make sure no dirts stay on them. Then, use the kit, take a liquid and do it quickly to apply on the surface of sensor and tape and put in the correct position. Keep it like this for several minutes as it will dry quickly. There are some videos on YouTube that will help you in the procedure. This kit is very helpful and must have to do the job. My rain sensor works perfectly after I do the job.

Easy to use used it twice. Easy applied. Cure a bit longer. Not sure on long term use. One con after each use you need to clean the nozzle, otherwise not reusable.
