THE GOOD: I'm on day 5 of a 7 day fast, drinking nothing but water and this electrolyte powder, and I feel GREAT! I have not experienced any headaches, dizziness, cramps, or other side effects that can sometimes come with prolonged fasting. I have done several 3 day fasts in the past using only Himalayan salt as a mineral supplement, but still suffered from most if not all of the aforementioned side effects (not severe, and effects were short lived, but still annoying). In fact, this was going to be a 3 day fast but I have felt so good I decided to extend it! THE BAD: This stuff tastes absolutely awful! The smell and taste reminds me of an insecticide or herbicide, and if you shake up really hard and don't allow the foam to subside before you slam it down, that bad taste is the gift that keeps on giving. So why 5 stars? Because this stuff WORKS! It gives your body what it needs. As part of my daily regiment I also drink apple cider vinegar and lemon juice, which also tastes awful, but it's good for you. Taste is overrated. Mix it really well with cold water, let the foam go down, swish it around again to make sure it's mixed, drink it down as fast as you can, and get on with your day!

The flavor takes a bit to get use to. It dissolves well. As I drink it in my water bottle, I dilute it with more water and drink throughout the day. I got in to enhance fasting after watching Dr. Berg’s videos on fasting. After 12 days of fasting, my bloodwork was great, particularly my electrolytes. That showed I was still in good shape while fasting and taking these electrolytes.

Almost made me vomit. I eat and drink constantly only for sustinance, and don't care what things taste like. I have used all different kinds of pre, post and intra workout drinks, protein powders, bcaa's and electrolyte mixes. Got this for my wife and she immediately started to dump it down the drain... so I barked "hey don't waste that" and I went to go drink it having just finished a workout anyway. It was a horrible flavor with a mild after taste. It has a bizarre stink to it, not like anything rotting. I tried it with 16oz of water as instructed, and then 12oz, 20oz, 8 oz, even tried to dilute it to death in 64oz of water thinking maybe you can kill it and still get the value out of it since I drink a gallon a day. Even in that much water it still tasted bad enough so I couldn't drink it and the smell was still present. My youngest (9) plays soccer and we often let him have small amounts of electrolyte drinks so we let him try it. His comment was "tastes like chemicals and frog poop". Needless to say I will purchase this in the future if I ever need something to torture prisoners with.

This was surprisingly tasty.

Pomegranate cherry flavour was really flat and chemically-tasting, I doctored the whole tub with maybe 7 scoops of citric acid and now it tastes almost like the white Gatorade. Doesn’t fully dissolve, either. That all being said, I do feel like it hydrates well.

If one suffers from nocturnal leg cramps (debilitating) then I highly recommend using this product - it helps for the most part, and that's good enough for me.

I dont care for the flavor at all :( it doesnt taste like cherry,, I know its a solid product, and I have used other flavors., next time I'll try grape. Ill mix this in with something else.
