The contact point and anvil for this gauge are flat and are constructed of ceramic for corrosion-resistance. This model has a grip handle, thumb trigger, and spring-loaded spindle for taking accurate measurements. Mitutoyo calibrated tools include a Certificate of Calibration that provides evidence that the tool has been calibrated and is within allowable error specifications.
