Compré este cable para utilizar mi disco duro con un Macbook que tiene solo puertos USB-C. En un principio había comprado un adaptador USB a USB-C para poder utilizarlo con mi antiguo cable USB a Micro-B, pero la calidad del mismo era pésima al no tener protección contra generación de ondas y acabó por hacer interferencias con el Wi-Fi cada vez que enchufaba algo al ordenador. Con este nuevo cable, sin embargo, solucioné el problema a parte de obtener un cable de mejor fabricación que el que tenía antes y poder separar más el disco duro. La verdad es que no tengo ningún tipo de queja con los cables de Amazon Basics. Siempre que compro uno que fabrican ellos me puedo olvidar de la calidad del producto y pensar que simplemente estoy comprando un cable porque tengo la garantía de que nunca me fallan.

Geschwindigkeit Bei dem Kabel handelt es sich um Kabel vom Typ USB 3.1 der 2. Generation. Dies bedeutet, dass das Kabel, ungeachtet der vorhandenen Stecker, eine theoretische Datenrate von bis zu 10 Gbit/s unterstützt. Obwohl zukünftige Festplatten vermutlich mit einem, USB C Anschluss auf dem Markt kommen werden, ist man mit diesem Kabel definitiv auch für die Zukunft gerüstet. Da Produkte anderer Hersteller lediglich Kabel vom Typ 3.1 der 1. Generation oder sogar lediglich vom Typ USB 2.0 verbauen, setzt sich dieses AmazonBasics Kabel hierdurch deutlich von vielen Konkurrenzprodukten ab. Wie bereits erwähnt benutze ich das Kabel für meine externen Festplatten. In einem Test mit einer LaCie Rugged Mini HDD und meinem alten MacBook mit USB 3.0 konnte ich ein Erhöhung der Lese- und Schreibgeschwindigkeit von gut 10Mbit/s feststellen. Eine höhere Geschwindigkeit wird hier jedoch nicht durch das Kabel, sondern durch die vorhandene HDD verhindert, da diese keine höhere Geschwindigkeit unterstützt. Leider konnte ich das Kabel noch mit keiner SSD testen. Qualität Wie von AmazonBasics gewohnt, ist das Kabel gut verarbeitet und macht im Einsatz einen soliden Eindruck. Ist der USB-C Stecker in das Macbook eingesteckt, wackelt er ähnlich viel wie das originale Apple Ladekabel. Einziger Kritikpunkt hier ist, dass das Kabel teilweise doch sehr starr ist. Dies ist bei der Nutzung ab und zu hinderlich, spricht aber für eine lange Lebensdauer. Preis Preislich setzt sich das Produkt von den meisten Produkten ab. Kaum ein anderer Hersteller bietet die selben Spezifikationen zu einem ähnlichen Preis. Fazit Wie bereits zu Anfang erwähnt, erhält das Kabel eine klarer Kaufempfehlung. Leider hat AmazonBasics momentan weniger Kabel der 2. USB 3.1 Generation im Sortiment und mit einer Vielzahl an Produkten der 1. Generation arge Lieferschwierigkeiten. Gerne würde ich in der Zukunft weitere USB 3.1 (2. Generation) Produkte von AmazonBasics sehen.
