It was really well packaged and so easy to assemble I watched a YouTube video and the instructions that came with it were really good. Superb quality amazing finish. really happy with the purchase. I put an Ikea desk top and its brilliant. Don't forget to use a tape measure to measure the centre of the rod (the one that moves to adjust the length of your desk top) before you tighten it that attaches between the feet. This is the best one Ive seen well worth every penny!!! My desk has 4 memory settings for different heights and the electronics are also very nice with a sleep mode.Standing and working as and when is so convenient and my neck and back pain has disappeared.

This is a good unit until its not. Let me explain, this unit has sensitivity feature that lets it back out of a movement if it detects it is crushing in either direction. If I ask it to go down and it feels its crushing something it will quickly go back up and visa versa, Wonderful, right ? Well no, see what I have found happens is I ask the desk to go to a preset position, lower than its current place, and it will drop a little, panic, and then race upwards! this then doesn't have a sensitive stop, and doesnt seem to want to stop until it has achieved a pre-set distance, no matter what you press or how much you jump on it, it will continue to rise. as a result of this I have had 1 crushed monitor, 1 £700 camera and even 1 snapped table top all as a result of this 'safety' feature, there is nothing on the desk or under the desk that would cause it to panic and climb, and yet, there are a handful of occasions where it does just that, and as mentioned, it is something you cannot stop. Why it goes above it starting point when it descends is beyond me, and whats better is it will have these moments back to back, so if you think you have enough clearance, dont bet on it. 1 panic and it climbs, you still have some headspace, you ask it to go down again and it panics and climbs yet again, all the while these climbs are a preset distance which you have no control over, so it drops 5mm climbs about 50. I have changed the sensitivity and this seems to have no impact, it will just decided in the moment it wants to crush your stuff out of pure hate or something, like a donkey thats had enough of carrying your stuff, it just kicks off. All in all it isnt that bad of a unit, but it totally will do random tings because it can.

Having been sent to work from home very early on by my employers, I was using a fixed desk and a rickety old chair. Although I bought myself a kneeler chair (my preferred seating), it was too short for me to reach the table correctly (yes, I'm a shortarse). As the lockdown came in to force, and then started to drag on, the seating arrangements became for too uncomfortable, and something had to be done. Looking around the house, the only available space was the opposite side of the room I was currently using, but was rather constrained by a door and the bookshelves, which could not be put anywhere else. This desk frame was the perfect answer. Being able to widen or narrow the width in addition to the sit/stand function was fantastic. The desk top was hastily created out of some spare MDF from the shed, cut to allow for the bookcase. It's not pretty, but it doesn't need to be. And finally, when sitting, I can use my kneeler seat again! Although I winced a little at the cost, I put this down to my Scottish blood (thanks Dad!), as it really isn't expensive at all compared to complete site/stand desk options, or indeed compared to many of the other frames available. The clincher for me was definitely the width adjustment options. I know that I can re use this desk in a less cramped environment, once time and tide allows. All in all, well worth having - and since I am not commuting, and therefore not buying petrol, it turned out that the cost was a non-issue anyway! :)

So I recently purchased this unit to support working from home, having spent four months in the kitchen and looking at another six, it was time for a change. I bought this unit along with two of their arms for monitors (not from Amazon) and all in all they all work well. here are some minor issues with making sure both legs are the same height before using the motor - mine were not. A quick detach of the drive rod even the legs up and reattach and all was well. The only real gripe I have is the fitting of a table top, apart from the table top I bought taking 25 days to get here, the fixings are quite poor and it feels fragile for a period - although you get used to it. The design could with stronger fixings. Motor works, but with the worktop, monitor arms and 2 x 28" monitors it feels slow. I think I would look at a dual motor unit if buying again. The controls work fine, once you have set them up. Oh I ran past the end of the lower limit on the motor and it all went blank! 20 secs with power off and a read of the manual - which is good sorted that out. it could do with an auto stop feature though. I am happy for now.

This desk is brilliant. I had been looking for a rising electric desk that is not to expensive but good quality and found this one. Some people have said there's was faulty once they assembled it, they would press the up button but then all of a sudden it goes down. Big mistake you need to attach the keypad the the work top desk the reason is the keypad has a senior in it and if you do not do that it will cause that problem. I learnt the hard way make sure you attach everything together first then switch it on. Best purchase ever. Will recommend. Also some have said that once you get to a certain hight it becomes a bit wobbly or not sturdy, this is because of your work top desk. I have the one from IKEA cheap and light weight which means yes wobbly as it is hollow dnt forget that ikea are good for cheap stuff. If it bothers you then get a solid desk top and it will be fine.
