Calming, soothing, protecting - no fragrance or irritants
Hydromol is the only ointment that protects and calms my eczema when my nickel allergy amps up. A tub will last you pretty much forever. Buy a bunch of small tubs to decant some of the ointment into, so you can keep it with you on the go.

Very soothing
I love this ointment. It instantly soothes and doesn't burn. It very quickly absorbs even though it is an ointment. Non-greasy. A little goes a long way. I will definitely be buying it again when I get through this container.

Effectiveness
Works really well for those with eczema . It’s kind of thick but as you mix it in your hands it softens up. You can feel it penetrating the layers of your dry skin. Just be careful a little goes a long way , don’t mess up your sheets with applying to much . You gotta really massage it in .

Wish the container was a bit shorter & wider so you could actually reach the last 25% of product! Otherwise, great product.

Skin soothing relief
I got this to try with my elderly dog who has developed severe skin issues in his old age. So far nothing has worked to completely clear it up, but this cream gives him SO MUCH soothing relief. It's a great value because the container is huge, perfect because I need to slather it all over my dog's raw spots. Within 20 minutes his itchy, red, inflamed skin has settled down and he can sleep. It's like a thick cream, not greasy, and it has a very mildly medicine smell kind of like hydrocortisone. Not bad at all. So glad for this product!

Comfortable emmolient for lichen sclerosis
Love it for lichen sclerosis. A good, non irritating emmolient. Not the most occlusive barrier, but pure petrolatum is more likely to encourage yeast overgrowth, and it still offers some protection. I use it in place of soap for that area as well and it removes medication residue without drying or irritating the skin.
