Just like everybody else, I received this item with a bent corner. That's just what happens when you ship things today. But a simple pair of pliers and the corner was back to normal. As far as the quality and the concept this replacement grease tray is perfect. You'll see a lot of people complain about simple things, but the truth of the matter is this is a lifesaver if you don't want to buy another grill. It fit our group perfectly and it absolutely does the job. Some complain that it wasn't high enough quality metal, that they were missing a nut, or some other frustration about not knowing how the screws went, understand that's their challenge because the device was perfect, the instructions were well written, and anyone who buys this product should know, the quality of the metal is great. You don't want it super thick because it'll get more hot that way. You want it thin so that it has a chance to cool off otherwise your grease will flare. So keep in mind there's a balance between how thick the metal is, and the quality of it.
