Just spent a few hours replacing the fan/serpentine belt on a 2014 Mazda 5. First off, it wasn't easy and definitely needed 2 people. Second, if you follow the instructions these things work . Thirdly, it helped to have a good range of tools to help access the tensioner. The local dealer quoted @200USD for the job. It was hard to find videos for my car & I was glad I was helping someone who had more experience than me. We could not have done it without these.

The width of the tool didn't allow for the tool to complete a full turn on my 2011 Camaro ....2 zip ties work better and got the job done

I used on my escalade and it did take off the old belt but unable to install new and water pump was to close to crankshaft pulley but is not the part's fault.
