This was exactly the type of thing I was looking for. I mounted an LED light on a tripod I have, but the light is a sho plight with no switch. This let me extend the tripod to its full height, and have. switch that turns off the light down by the outlet. It's a thick gauge wire and heavy duty made. It couldn't be easier, simply plug one end into an outlet and the other into the light cord.

I have a fan that docent shut off the LED when plugged in. I love this, its heavy duty enough to handle the power plug. I love this adapter, it allows me to turn it off very easy and know if its on with a red light. I would def buy again

I'm using this as an on-off switch for a shop light. Before I got it, I was controlling the light with the on-off switch on a multi-outlet surge protector. This worked, but was not ideal. This thing is exactly what I needed. It is so heavy and solidly made that it might be overkill. Will probably outlast me. The cord bends, but isn't what I'd call flexible in that it springs back into its original position if not held in place by something. The length is perfect for what i use it for, but might be too short for some applications. Ryan_N, in an informative review, cautions about using it in 20 amp situations. Extremely well made, will last longer than I. The switch lights up brightly when in the ON position. Heavy-duty, indeed. Added at the end of an extension cord where it really is needed and makes sense. I probably should purchase another one.

Lo uso para apagar extensiones y me resulta práctico, no lo veo como uso interior de casa, ya que es no estético, pero el uso en áreas abiertas combinadas con extensiones que no quieres ir hasta el origen del tomacorriente, es ideal.

Awesome. I use this yo power up my pedalboard for guitar. I have 15 pedals all wired up to a power bank, but that power bank doesn't have an on/off switch, so I'd have to yank the power cable from the wall each time. Annoying. This little "go between" has solved that issue 100%. Great unit!
