These pepper balls are awesome. All the Byrna products are high quality and i highly recommend these to everyone looking to protect them selves without having to actually kill somebody.

These Byrna MAX rounds are the nuclear option in your less-lethal arsenal. OC + CS blend in a 0.68 cal ball that hits like a freight train and then makes the freight train cry. If someone’s dumb enough to test you after one of these connects, they deserve the Darwin Award. Highly effective. Don't do what I did . . . . . . I slammed my magazine into my SD like I have always done with my standard .45 Cal. handgun. In doing so, I cracked one of the OC / CS projectiles slightly. Later when I changed out the mag. to do some target practice with a friend, I got just a wee' bit of the powder in my fingers and didn't know it. Later I wiped some moisture away from my eyes and instantly my eyes were on fire. I couldn't keep my eyes open and had to wash them out with a whole lot of water. These and the Pepper balls will totally stop any assailant - Guaranteed !!!

This product is very effective. I tested it out in a confined space sith a friend and we couldn't stay confined in that space for long at all. It does seem to need to be a close quarters blast to break the shell. I did leave a clip full of pepperballs in my launcher for a couple weeks and in this wet and damp area I live one of the balls split causing the inside of the magazine and launcher to be coated with the irritant. I cleaned it thourally and if you ever have to clean the powder I would highly recommend washing your hands very well before using the restroom. It burned instantly when contacting the soft skin. My fault, I should have thought that one through, lol. Lesson learned. I would highly recommend this product and look forward to using it on a thief, intruder, bully, or tweaker in self defence. They will incompasitate if shot at a close range. It's got the looks and feel of the real deal and I wear mine on my hip when working late by myself or when I feel like having it on me would be effective.

I have not used yet. They fit the byrna kinetic launcher. Do not put in if you plan on leaving them sit in there. They start to break down in heat.

This thing is badass been contemplating getting an SD for awhile now and reading and watching tests and reviews finally pulled the trigger and got a new SD kit and absolutely love it. Packs a real punch is a blast to plink with and handgun train with and hope I will never have to use it for defense but it sure inspires confidence once you shoot it a few times and get used to it. High quality product has a great feel too it good weight and balance nothing but good to say about these.
