Wilton Flirty Fleur Wedding Invitation Kit

I just ordered these invitations for my wedding and I'm really pleased. I spent the last several months looking at budget invitations from places like Costco or Wedding Paper Divas, but all the ones that fell close to this price range were simple card stock. I opted to print my own because these invitations look and feel more elegant and expensive. The ribbons, pressed flowers and multi-layer aspect would cost SO much to get through a printer or invitation service. My favorite parts: -the outside "jacket" portion of the invitation has a rustic, recycled paper feel that is really pretty up close. -the printable invitation is smooth card stock, so it doesn't get jammed in the printer. Not-so-favorite parts: -it took me a couple of trial runs to get the alignment of my printer right. The Word document on the Wilton website works pretty well, but I ended up designing my own in Photoshop. -the response cards don't exactly match the invitations. I'm OK with this, but I know some people would be particular about it. -the people I've shown a sample invitation to don't understand that the bows won't untie. Each person has struggled a bit to understand that the invitation slides out of the jacket. Be prepared to explain! I ended up buying purple and white ribbon at Michael's and tying it around the invitation instead of using the included bows. I liked the idea of it being untied, after all. Overall, I would highly recommend this product!

We enjoyed the simple double heart kit. This is an amazing kit that has everything you need including test pages (make sure you use these prior to print). I did not like their online site to create the cards so I created my own in MS Word and a mail merge with MS Excel. Suggestion, after test paper is successful, print 1 official page to verify on the official paper before running entire set to verify you are happy with the results. Also, do not get over excited that it's perfect and accidentally hit a character/key in your document as I did then discovered I had a "/" in the middle of my invitation. I had to purchase another box, but keep in mind, that was "my fault." I highly recommend this product to all those couples out there who want to do it themselves. Pros - Great for do it yourself - Great design - Everything you need in 1 box Cons - I didn't care for their website to create them (this is my opinion, you may prefer it)

OK, so the invitations themselves are beautiful; the paper is thick, the pressed floral covers are gorgeous, but I had a huge problem with trying to print through the Wilton website...so buyer beware! If you decide to buy this and print your own, you'll be better off to use anything other than Wilton. It took me three computers and 5 hours to finally figure out the best way to go about printing would be to download google chrome on my computer (because microsoft word didn't have any cursive fonts) and just print it through the chrome browser under google docs. Not to mention Wilton's website didn't offer very many options to personalize. Oh, and if you get the lavender kit, I just want to make sure you know that the ribbon for the belt will still be yellow, and they aren't carefully placed in the box. They will be very wrinkled. It didn't matter to me because I went out and bought lavender ribbon to match the paper (and my wedding color). So, besides the Wilton website and the ribbon it came with, I would recommend this product. I am a bride on a budget and finding this kit couldn't have been better for me. They look way more expensive then they are. My friends and family just started getting their invitations in the mail today and they keep telling me how much they loved them...so I am very happy with this product, and as long as you have a document writer on your computer (with a lot of options for cursive) you should have a lot more luck than I did at first!

We were on a tight budget and didn't want to spend a crazy amount of money on invitations, but wanted something classy that reflected us. My fiance found these online and they were perfect and the price was amazing! When we opened the box and saw the pressed paper sleeve, we were thrilled! The texture, weight of the sleeve, and pressed flower petals/leaves within the paper was more than we could have hoped for. Simply stunning! We continue to get comments about how beautiful the invitations are. Everything you could want for your invitations is included in this kit. The instructions from Wilton was so simple to use in downloading and designing the text for the invitations and rsvp's and envelopes. The only change I made was to use green raffia ribbon instead of the yellow ribbon that was included in the kit. For a fall wedding, the yellow was just way too bright and doesn't really match the invitation itself. It's definitely more yellow than ivory. But paying 1.79 to change it to the raffia ribbon...no biggie!

I decided early on that I didnt want to spend too much on my wedding invitations. I didnt see the point since 90% of the guests will toss them. Also, I wanted to make them myself since I really wanted each individual invitation to have the 'personal touch' feel to them. Something only accomplished by actually touching every one. The paper that the information is printed on is pretty standard cardstock. It is thick and durable and when I printed on them looked beautiful. (Dont know if my photosmart printer made any difference) The flower paper is gorgeous and feels really good. Some of the flowers come off when you're handling them but its minimal and not too much of a hassle. Handle with care. I did not end up using the ribbon that the invitations came with. The colors didnt go with the theme of my wedding. I just replaced it with a ribbon of a different color. But I have to say that the bows that come included come all wrinkled and you need to iron them when you recieve them. Its not really a big deal but something to note to whoever is buying these. All in all I really liked them and they're perfect for my summer wedding. I would recommend them to anyone.

The invitations were lovely, and fairly easy to assemble. I was concerned when they arrived, and I saw that the ribbons and bows were not flat, but they are so lightweight that it was not difficult to smooth them while putting together the invitations. It took about two hours to print, assemble, and address twenty-five invitations. Over all this was an excellent value. One note: I downloaded the invitation and reply card templates from the Wilton site, but still had difficulty printing until I explicitly reset the page size. (In Word 2011 for Mac, this requires opening the File Menu and clicking "Page Setup"; clicking the drop down menu next to "Paper Size" and choosing "Manage Custom Sizes"; clicking the "+" near the bottom left of the pop up window to create a new custom size option; setting up a page size of 5.5" width and 8.5" height; naming that new page option by double clicking on "untitled"--the default name--and using whichever name you prefer.)

Overall, I was happy enough with this product. The paper was a very decent quality and had real leaves and flowers pressed in. The templates it suggested using on the box were the appropriate size and easy to work around even though I'm not he most computer savvy person. My one complaint is the ties. The bows are separate from the straight pieces that go around the entire invite, and they give you these small square double sided foam stickers to join everything together-it just doesn't work! Most glues that I tried would bleed through. Hot glue worked the best as long as I didn't let it get too hot. Towards the end, I just started sending them without the bows because it wasn't worth the trouble. They still looked very nice and accomplished what we were seeking. We used these for our step-mother's 60th birthday party invitations.

I am the type of person that searches many different companies/products, reads reviews, etc. to find the best product and deal. I was VERY Happy with these invitations!! First of all, I rarely write reviews, however I felt obligated to write one now because I was so pleased. I ordered the ivory pressed floral. They look so much better in person! They are real leaves, and in my opinion, they are excellent quality. I did not use the software provided because I had already designed a MicrosoftWord document. I completed all 50 of my invitations in a couple of hours! YES, they sent me 50 instead of 25;) and that time includes printing, putting them together, and addressing. Like I said, I was pleasantly surprised!! If you want a cute, quality invitation, without spending too much, BUY THESE!!! At least I was glad I did:)

El paquete es muy completo, solo que el papel que trae las incrustaciones de flores es blanco y la tarjeta y sobre beige y para mi hacían mucho contraste y no se veía bien

estan padres, suoer utiles si necesitas algo bueno bonito y barato, salen mas economicas que pedirlas en imprenta, incluyen el sobre, el pase para la comida y la hoja donde se imprimira la invitacion , la hoja de un papel echo con incrustaciones de flores paa cobrir todo , la cinta que amarra el paquete y un moño que se pega, lo que no me gusto es que trae un lik a la pagina de diseños pero esa ya esta muy desactualizada, en si uno termina haciendo un diseño por fuera de la pagina, pero en general es algo bueno bonito y barato.

My guests came to my wedding after receiving these invitations, so they worked! Easy to print on, nice texture and they look more costly than they really are. If you are trying to avoid the crazy twenty thousand dollar wedding, I would strongly recommend these - you can buy more wine and cheese for your guests!

Stunning just perfect

The price of this kit was amazing and we couldn't have bought invitations for any cheaper, however, they were time consuming as the paper needed to be feed into the printer one at a time and all the ribbons and bows were all crinkled so I had to flatten everything before assembling them. But other than that they are elegant and beautiful!
