So perfect.
Freaking amazing cage, I've had it about 2 years now and its a fantastic buy. great quality and mobility, easy to clean and so very sturdy. best cage you can buy for the price and to be honest it should cost more. It's HUGE and i have a chinchilla. He loves it and runs up and down the ramps all day. Be advised the ramps are plastic so if its an animal that chews, (Rats,Mice, ect.) they're likely to chew through them and maybe you should keep them out. also be careful pressing in the ramps because they are plastic and can and will break if too much force is applied. Great cage though and i highly recommend it.

Good cage for ferrets! Awesome quality and price!
I needed an emergency ferret cage since out old one got severely rusted and we were unexpectedly moving due to upstairs apt water damage. We had no choice but to throw away the old cage and buy a smaller bit also more long term cage. I found this one on Amazon and purchased the 37” (smaller) cage for about $61 and I am overall impressed! None of my pieces were missing, no bends, free waterbottle, free large food dish, and pull out litter tray. Comes with instructions- VERY easy to assemble! For the litter tray it pulls out from the front rather than the side (yay!) and I use the johnny cat jumbo litter liners and paper litter. The stock photo shows the wire over the litter box bit you can put it under the tray so poop doesn’t get stick to the wire frame if you have ferrets. You can place the litter box either over or under the wire. The water bottle slides down and can be fixed by using rubber band around the bottle as a grip. It came with a corner “pool” style food dish but I added my own since my girls perfer to eat out of seperate dishes. In my photos I have two small female ferrets, the darker one being a baby still, and she is not able to get through the cage! They have not been able to escape. I did not need to “ferret proof” anything other than zip tie the stairs to the levels since my dark ferret is a brat and likes to pull them off. I think this is an okay size ferret cage for smaller female ferrets, two at most, but there is the bigger taller option. I think males if multiple will need the larger option but 1 male might be okay in the 37” tall cage. As far as noise, it only makes a light rattle noise when ferrets are being bratty and dig. No “stritch stritch” like the textured plastic levels make since the levels are grided wire- you can always add padding to levels if your pet’s feet are sensitive. The wire is also coated so it wont rust and is water resistant! The wheels are optional! My ferrets can’t open the door hinges which is a good plus. You need to lift the lever up and slide right to open the doors. Con is there is no side opening so you need to go in from the front or bottom to attach toys, hammocks, and food dishes. *** please note my ferret cage is not complete- we JUST moved! Over I highy recondmend this cage! Super amazing for the price and size (was larger than I expected!) and freat for a number of small pets. Good cage for ferrets definitely!

Spacious and Sturdy
This cage is amazing! Lots of room with multiple levels, and my pets love exploring it. The metal is sturdy, the wheels make it easy to move, and the doors give good access for cleaning and feeding. Perfect for ferrets or rabbits—definitely worth the price.

Affordable, but needed modifications to suit my needs.
This is a decent enough cage. Assembly goes much smoother if you have two people, but bear in mind that you might have to put some elbow grease into it (some of the metal pieces were warped so fitting them together required some strength.) Because the bar spacing is bigger than a half an inch, I needed to modify this cage so my rats wouldn't escape, since without it they slipped right out of the bars. I ended up buying some hardware cloth and zip tying it to the cage (if you need instructions for this, there's a YouTube video tutorial.) This made securing my cloth cage liners tricky, since I used binder clips to secure those to the bars, but the hardware cloth needed to be fairly snug against the bars. Because hardware cloth isn't smooth metal and because the cage doors are somewhat small, I was often littered with scratches during the cleaning process 😅 (If you're going to use this cage for rats, please consider lining all the grates and ramps with cloth to provide some cushion for their feet.) Beyond difficulty with the cleaning process, the reason I switched over to the Critter Nation cage was due to the metal grates on the bottom of the cage- great for preventing chewing, but I didn't want my ratties to develop bumblefoot (replacing the bottom grate with the plastic tray didn't work, as this left too much space for them to escape.) The wheels also kind of suck- they pop off pretty easily, but it is nice to be able to move the cage around easily when needed (I like to take my cage outside for cleaning, and put the cage in a different room at night time so my cat doesn't terrorize my rats.) In any event, if you can't afford a better cage, this will do, as long as you're willing to deal with some annoyances and potential modifications depending on your critter. But, if you can afford it, I recommend just investing in a Critter Nation cage.

Not recommended for guinea pigs!
Cage is nice and sturdy. The ramps are to slippery for guinea pigs, so I hot glued pieces of carpet to them so that they could walk up and down. The issue I had the whole time was pee coming out from the bottom of cage. Guinea pigs pick a corner to pee at. This cage has gaps where the pee would puddle in between the metal and tray, and then run out along the wheels, and sides. The pee would dry, build up, and stink. Also, it was very hard to to scrape the dry urine off. I would find pee sprayed on my wall, and puddled on the floor. I spent a lot of time wiping up, and scrubbing off pee because of this cage not being designed for guinea pigs. I tried using coroplast barriers, cage barriers, and eventually, I started putting pee pads under the cage. The last straw was when my guinea pig tripped and fell down a ramp and was limping. So, I ended up buying a Midwest cage! No more pee on my floor or walls. I miss the cage going vertically instead of horizontally, but at least I don't spend my days cleaning up pee anymore.

Absolutely perfect for male rats
I have two male rats and the 37” cages are absolutely amazing for them. I honestly can’t explain how happy I am that I bought them. Some of the things I like the most: -The price is amazing for what you get. A large cage (again, large and perfect for rats but might be too small for an average rabbit), a food dish and water bottle, metal platforms and ramps (as opposed to plastic), and wheels to move it around. -Setup was actually pretty easy. It recommends two people to set it up, but I set one up by myself in about 20 minutes. With a second person, we setup the second cage in about 10. The provided directions weren’t very helpful but it’s pretty easy to figure out where each piece goes. -The size and overall layout is perfect for rats and other animals that need climbing/vertical space. It also allows for plenty of decorations and personalization. You can also move the tray so that it’s either under the metal grate or you can use it as the floor itself. Good for animals who are litter-trained. The only problems I could see with this cage are that the bars are spaced widely enough that young and/or female rats would likely squeeze through. There is also not much floor space at the bottom. The tray is also shallow and will likely fill up quickly. That being said, I don’t have any of these problems personally because I have two male rats each with his own cage, but I could see them being problems for larger animals or if multiple animals share a cage. Overall, I’m very happy that I got these cages and my rats also seem much happier with the extra climbing areas. Definitely not cheap but they are completely worth it. UPDATE: I’ve had these cages for about 9 months now and they still look brand new. The trays don’t have any stains on them and are super easy to clean even if I put off cleaning a bit too long. No rusting metal or broken pieces. I’m thoroughly impressed by these and would absolutely buy another if I get any new small critters.

Was WELL WORTH the Struggle! ----- 5/5 STARs
THIS cage is.... - VERY STURDY - A ROYAL PAIN to build (Because the pieces and screws fit so "snug" it made it fairly difficult to assemble, especially by myself. BUT I got it done, and it definitely isn't coming/falling apart any time soon) - ALL metal + GREAT option for a CHEW PROOF CAGE The CAGE'S... - Size is (in my case, for 1 chinchilla) GREAT. IT has 3 levels and a fair amount of room (with minimal in-cage products) - Appearance is lovely and SIMPLISTIC + IT fits perfectly for the space I bought it for, and doesn't take up allot of excess room. - THE fact that it was a HARD cage to build (because of the facts I listed above cornering its assembly), I'd say the cage is very STURDY and very SAFE. This cage was well worth my assembly struggle(s), and I am thoroughly SATISFIED with the finished product! 5/5 STARs

Shocked by the quality
I got this last minute for some rescue rats, and I am legitimately shocked by the quality. It's sturdy, well made, and came with very high quality casters. It's not wide, but it's definitely tall and more than adequate for three rats. Five out of five stars, for sure. My only problem is the plastic tray, which the rats could chew their way through. It comes with a metal wire floor, but that's not really good for rats - they could slip a leg through and break it, or wind up with bumble foot. A piece of cardboard over most of that solved the problem, and created a kind of latrine where the cardboard doesn't cover. Works great for my boys.

Pay more to get something without metal wire bottoms
You will want to pay a bit more to get something without metal wire bottoms . If you do what i did you will have to become an engineer, come up with some ideas, run around trying to find things that you can use do some arts and crafts and try and secure flooring that won't hurt your animals feet. Good cage for a few small birds but not rodent appropriate. Would not recommend for your rats as the bars are 1 inch apart and they will get out. This cage was so infuriating to assemble. Not capable to assemble with 1 person when cage sides are warped and roon isn't bent properly to fit. I though i was about to bend to roof in half to get it on the cage. Did a number on it getting it to fit.

Not suitable for rats
Great cage, easy to assemble however the bar space is too wide for rats. First night, my son comes to me in the middle of the night to tell me the rats were climbing over him in bed. Good thing his bedroom door was closed with our cats. Second night with the cage and again all 3 rats managed to squeeze through and even bend the bars a little bit! Sadly now it has to be disassembled and returned.
