Command Picture Ledge, 21" Damage Free Hanging Floating Shelf with Adhesive Strips, Quartz, No Tools Picture Hanger for Displaying Decorations and Photographs, 1 Ledge and 10 Command Strips

This was bought to put up a team award at work. The shelf is long enough that the award and the framed citation letter fit nicely. This is in a government office. Since it just sticks to the wall without damage, I did not ask permission or ask for Facilities personnel to put up something, and if they give me issues it can be easily removed. There have been no issues. It looks good, fits, looks professional, and caused no damage. It holds up to 5 pounds, so decent capacity. There are 5 stickers on the back. Mounting is easy as any other Command products, put the tape on, peel off the backing, stick to the wall. (Use a level.) The 5 mounting points are clips that stick to the wall and click into the shelf back. To remove, the shelf can be slid upward to dismount from the clips, and then each clip can be removed. The direction says to leave it up for a day before putting anything on it, but I didn't want questions about why its there and wanted to get done quickly, so I just stuck it up, put the award/letter on it, and left it. The extra stickers that Command products always have were also handy for the base of the award and base and top of the letter frame so they won't fall off if bumped. This is a good product for the price.

I purchased two of these - one to hold my Pop collection, and one to hold my tablet and Kindle while they are charging, and they are excellent! Installation was super fast and easy - you just stick the strips to appropriate spots on the back of the shelf and stick it to the wall, holding it for about 30 seconds or so. I premarked where the center was supposed to go on the wall, as well as the center of the shelf, with a pencil and then erased it with an alcohol wipe after. I do recommend using a level to make sure these are level when hanging, since it can be difficult to tell. The shelf is excellent quality plastic and nice and smooth so I don't have to worry about it scratching the screens of my electronics. It also holds a good amount of weight - my iPad Air, Kindle Paperwhite, and iPhone. It fits 8 regular-sized Pop figurines in a row - including the ones with the round bases (it takes a bit of oomph to wiggle them into position, but they are easily removed without damage). Overall, this is attractive, reasonably priced, good quality, and super easy to install so I certainly recommend it.

A fine solution. The obvious pros are that it goes on without tools or mess. Yes, it is plastic and not wood, but the look is on par, unless you have a real hang-up about anything plastic. The installation is fairly easy and straightforward. I do recommend following the instruction to first clean the wall with rubbing alcohol and otherwise following the command strip instructions to the letter. Even though command may make for an easier/cleaner installation than tools, if you want it to work properly, in the long run, you do need to take the time and the patience to not just stick to the wall and use it that instant. During installation one or two of the multiple strips on the back may come out of place (as they did when I installed). It might take some finesse to get them back into place, but it can be done. The one tool you will certainly want to use is a level. It has a sturdy feel and will nicely hold up the weight of just about any picture frames that will fit on it. Be aware of the depth limitations of this product. It does not play nicely with hinged frames as it is simply not deep enough for the hinged frames to stand on it on their own.

I use Command products in every room of my house. We live in a mobile home & it can be difficult to hang items with nails/screws, and even then the nail holes etc are always visible if you remove them. I wanted a small, simple shelf for my 6 year old son’s room to display some special keepsakes, photos, etc. Assembly took me less than 5 minutes but I’m very familiar with Command brand items. The most time spent waiting for use is to allow the adhesive to bond to the wall before adding weight to it. I always give it 24 hours. This particular shelf is meant to hold 5 pounds, but that’s plenty for my intended use (I plan to switch up which pictures are displayed etc). Read the description carefully to see if the weight limit and size-including depth- fit your needs. This was the perfect solution for what I wanted. The package contains enough adhesive strips to hang this twice- meaning I used 5 strips to hang it here, now. If I want to move it in the future, I’ve got 5 strips left from the kit to allow me to remove the shelf, and hang it elsewhere with the 5 other strips that came with it. You can also buy size medium Command strips on their own. I’m so happy. I plan to order another, as well as the other configurations available such as the set of 2 smaller shelves.

I have a dozen of these to display my tokidoki critters. They've been up for over a year so far and no issues. Perfect size for what I'm using them for and light weight.

We just took this down due to moving after over 3 years. It held up well and came off cleanly. We used it to hold 5 pop figures. The only slight issue we had with that is the lip on the ledge was a bit too narrow but it worked well still. We will reinstall at the new place and probably buy more. Definitely the most affordable and renter friendly option with no wall damage/holes.

Would not recommend. Does not stick well to wall and keeps on falling down despite having very light items on the shelf.

These Command Picture Ledges were so easy to put up. Although they are a bit pricey, I much prefer these over putting nails and holes in my walls. They look great, feel sturdy, and the quality is excellent. Highly recommend!
