Fire-Maple XK6 Camping Pot with Heat Exchanger 1L Ultralight Portable Pot

I did like that I could boil enough water for three servings of dryed food. It was fast, the only issue is that I have the super small BSR stove and I almost couldnt make it to stand on top of the stove, if is a bigger stove you won’t have any trouble. Overall I liked it Its lightweight and boils fast. Also love the insulted handles so you don’t burn your hand.

Great pot. Large capacity. Light for its size

Purchased this pot mainly for the heat exchanger design and the weight. I used a MSR Pocket Rocket 2 deluxe stove with this pot. Used room temp water and was able to boil two cups in 1:36. Heat exchanger works very well. I had no problem with the lid, however i feel it's not made as durable as others. Awesome pot for the price. Added a reflectix pot cozy and I'm now off for the trail.

Does not fit on the FireMaple Mars Radiant Stove. Amazon did not accept returns on this item. However the seller refunded me the amount. Strangely the below items fits on the FireMaple Mars Radiant Stove. MSR WindBurner 8 inch Ceramic Nonstick Skillet. MSR WindBurner Sauce Pot. MSR WindBurner 4.5 Liter Nonstick Stock Pot.

Boils way faster than my old one. Loved it. Spent 2 weeks on the trail and used less than 4oz of gas.

Tested when it arrived by boiling a half liter of water at home. It got to a boil pretty quickly, even with my stove far from max heat. The handles take some force to nest into a position that is comfortable, but not too much. The biggest downside is the lid. Having just a tiny tab to lift by is not a great design. When I tried to lift the lid, the opposite side touched just below the lip of the pot and it melted. A design that makes it easy to grip and lift the lid straight up without having to tilt it would be a better solution. A lid that is made with the same material as the pot would be an even more effective solution. A plus is that a standard 230 gram fuel canister will fit inside the pot.

Boils water 30% faster than normal pot. Lid is tight too.

Light weight. Perfect size. Recommended.

Used on a mountain hunt and its the Cat’s meow. Awesome product for the hunter/hiker. Well made and super quick heating up a liter of water

Comparable to the Jetboil Minimo cup I used to have and compatible with my new MSR stove. Love it. No complaints. Works as expected and easy to clean. First a standard medium 230g gas cartridge. Very light and the lid makes it great for pouring. Heat retention is excellent I noticed the difference immediately.

top
