Bundle of 2 - Classic Mint Swaddle Transition Zipadee-Zip - Medium 6-12 Months (18-26 lbs, 29-33 inches)

I have purchased so many zipadee zips for my children that I should probably own stock in the company, and I have zero regrets. These are THE answer for swaddle transition, because unlike everything else, you don't have to transition out of them. My almost 3 year old has probably another year out of the largest size. My little one started in these at two months old with the snuggle strap and has slept great - 5-8 hours straight every night plus another 3-4 hour stretch. It's just enough resistance to suppress the Moro reflex, but enough flexibility that babies can push up with their arms so they can move their heads to the side if they end up on their stomach before you realize they can roll. I genuinely wish I could give these more than 5 stars - sleep is precious when you have small babies. Also worth noting that this is my first time purchasing these solid zipadee zips, and they are very soft which I love. The patterns in the small sizes are not generally as soft, whereas everything is soft in the larger sizes.

Maybe I had too high expectations with a restless baby, but I do not see a difference in behaviour with or without the Zipadee-Zip. The fabric on the arms is already getting some lint and I always forget that zips do not rest properly on the body.

My baby started out in the love to dream swaddled until she started trying to roll. Most nights we get maybe 3 hour stretches. First night in this sleep sack we got a 5 hour stretch. She has also been napping great since using this! It’s perfect so she can stretch out but still feel secure. One complaint I have is the extra fabric bunches up and tries to flip up to cover baby’s face. I secured the extra fabric at the end with a hair tie and that had seemed to help.

I bought this just to keep my daughter from scratching her face in her sleep. It serves that purpose well and I think she likes the feeling of fabric when she rubs her face. However, it’s ridiculously overpriced for the cheap polyester material it’s made out of. I wash and dried on low heat, inside out and haven’t seen any pilling yet doing that but I will update with more wear. I see other reviewers say it covers their babies faces, I haven’t had that issue but it does bunch a bit and I could see that being a problem for smaller babies. It also zips top to bottom which isn’t an issue for mesince my girl goes all night with an overnight diaper. I wish there was a competitor that made the same concept out of a different fabric, but for now this will do. Might try the fleece one.

Loving this sleep sack so far but it does not have double zippers for easy diaper changing like it advertises!
