PILOT Precise V5 Stick Liquid Ink Rolling Ball Stick Pens, Extra Fine Point (0.5mm) Assorted Ink Colors, 10-Pack (12562)

I’ve used these pens many times over. These are my go-to pens in every colour imaginable. I stock up often on this brand and style of pens. They are fine ball-point pens with ink that flows well and freely from the barrel. They write well and smoothly. The ink dries quickly which, for me, is very important because I’m a lefty and I often have a hard time finding good pens that don’t smudge ink all over the paper and onto the side of my hand as I write.

I've been obsessed with mechanical pencils since middle school, but could never find a pen that lived up to the standards my Pentel Sharplet-2 0.5 mechanical pencils set. I'm now 45, and just discovering the PILOT Precise V5 pens. These write smoothly, have lots of ink, and look fantastic. They're a little bit thicker than a regular Bic, but that just makes them feel a bit more substantial in the hand. The ink flows quickly and smoothly, but not enough that it bleeds through the page like a felt-tip marker would. I purchased this 10 color pack for color-coded note taking at work, and so far they're working very well. My only complaint is the yellow is very light in color. I'm sure for art-type projects, it works very well, but it's nearly useless for notes. Overall these are a great value at under $2 per pen!

Clear the clutter and replace your old pens with these for a pleasure each time you write. As someone who has encountered a lot of pens in her life, I am delighted to share my top favorite with you. No matter if I’m journaling, doodling, color coding labels, filling out our family calendar on the fridge, or writing stuff down in my day planner, grabbing one of these Precise V5 pens is never disappointing. I know it’ll work each time, and the ink flows out smoothly. It’s easy to uncap, stick it on the end, and do what I need to do. And when I’m done, there’s a satisfying click when I snap it back on. The metal clip is quite sturdy. I’m never afraid of losing a pen in my bag. And I love the ink window on the side that shows me when the ink’s running low. I recommend the 0.5 mm or extra fine version because of the precise clean line I get with my somewhat messy handwriting. The ink is thick and doesn’t smear, so you don’t need to wait for it to dry like you do with gel pens. Enjoy!
