PR9610CS 6" x 9" Two-Way Component Speaker System

Installed in a 2006 Grand Cherokee with an aftermarket 50wpc RMS amp. Nice sound, good power handling. They're not subwoofers so they choke below 50hz, which is expected. But midbass is great, and the tweeters are nice and clear. Lots of mounting options for the tweeters, although I wish they had included matching wires to connect the tweeters to. One great thing is that the crossovers are tiny; most component speakers have huge crossovers that are a pain to hide. These speakers need some power to run, and most stock systems just won't deliver what they want. I'm guessing that most who use these as direct factory replacements are replacing 2ohm speakers, which just won't give these enough watts.

Bought these as n upgrade from my factory jbl speakers and I gotta say that they rock. For anyone that is on the fence about purchasing these, go ahead and buy them. U won't be disappointed. I noticed a typo in the description,. These speakers are 2.7 ohm not 4

They sounded good when songs played without too much bass. Songs with heavy bass caused them to pop. I returned them.To be fair, I like a lot more bass than most and these will work well for most consumers. They're just not for me and I feel they should have been able to handle my factory system regardless of bass settings.They were installed in a 14 Ford Fusion Titanium Hybrid with the premium factory Sony system.

Look good but don't perform good. They distort at medium volume with any type of of heavy bass music. Factory speakers sounded better and that's what I ended up putting back in. Since it was past the return window before I had a chance to install them, I just have to take the loss. One big headache...
