Kosas Chemistry Deodorant - Aluminium and Baking Soda Free + BO-Fighting AHA Serum that Exfoliates, Softens, and Nourishes the Skin, (Beachy Clean)

I’ve struggled with underarm odor my entire life and this is the first aluminum-free, natural-ingredient deodorant that has truly worked for me. I’ve tried so many, and this one is hands down the best—I won’t use anything else. It has a very subtle scent, but what really impressed me is how effective it is: I only need to apply it a couple of times a week rather than daily like traditional deodorants. It goes on wet but dries quickly, which is a huge plus. I never write reviews but this deodorant was a life changer for me - buy it now!

To whom it may concern: I worked in cosmetic manufacturing for multiple natural, aluminum free deodorant brands and in all of my market research this is my favorite serum deodorant formula! In the process of developing an effective serum, AHA deodorant formula I examined almost every single option on the market and this is hands down my favorite. Efficacious, not sticky, no burning (alcohol %) and reasonable scent load (unlike Saltair). I appreciate this product!

Prior to this deodorant I had tried raw sugar all 3 of the scents were tolerable during pregnancy but it didn’t work for the bad odor, I had to be putting it on more than 3 times a day for it to work. I also, tried using dr.squatch which it has mostly manly scents that I couldn’t tolerate during pregnancy but worked for the bad odor. I bought this deodorant 1 month postpartum the scent is fresh tangy very minimal, is clear doesn’t leave white marks on clothes, I apply it once after I shower and I won’t have bad odor all day, and it has also helped whitening my armpits. Hands down the best deodorant I have tried. It’s on the pricey side but it’s so worth it! I posted before and after pics I have been using this for a month now.

This deodorant lasted pretty long but did let some of the smell through. For the price I’d expect 100% coverage value. The texture is very wet so it takes a second to dry. It’s pretty good, but Drunk Elephant’s Sweet Pitti is better

Ok, this is the best deodorant! I am a dental hygienist, which means I spend my days with my armpits very close to people's faces. It gets hot when you're wearing a mask, gown, gloves, etc. Top that off with occasional high levels of stress and stinky pits can happen. I used to have to keep deodorant in my bag to reapply. This the ONLY deodorant that goes all day long! I love that the green scent is so light it's barely detectable. The blue scent, however, is strong and unappealing. My biggest issue now is that the price has jumped to $20! It was $12 a few years ago, and I think it was $14 the last time I purchased (last year). I might just have to go back to using the old deodorant and reapplying because this is insanity.

I had to do EXTENSIVE research when I suddenly developed pregnancy B.O. at 15 weeks. After reading that this could last even postpartum, I swear my perinatal anxiety got even worse. I was using a natural deodorant before but was so devastated when that just suddenly stopped working. I went back to daily “detoxing” my pits with Bentonite Clay and Apple Cider Vinegar which did help but ain’t nobody got time to be waiting 20-30 mins before showering every single time. This deodorant was recommended on a blog I read. I made the initial mistake of just using it one day after a shower and it didn’t work. I made a few tweaks and now it works like a charm. I use a benzoyl peroxide face wash (I use Differin face wash-in the shower, under the pits, count 20 seconds each pit and leave it while I wash hair). Using a washcloth or exfoliating scrub/cloth, I use a tea tree oil soap like Dr Bronners. As soon as I get out of the shower, I dry my pits well, then apply the deodorant. Yes it’s really wet no matter no little you roll, I try to let it dry a bit but again, ain’t nobody got time. This method has worked for me. I’ve also read others using a feminine wash (I tried with Monistat wash with boric acid, instead of using benzoyl peroxide and it worked.) Truthfully, just the differin alone works for me, sometimes I don’t even use the feminine wash or the tea tree soap after the differin wash and I’ve had the same results. It’s really just a matter of using some sort of acid on the pits to neutralize it and then apply the deodorant. I only wished the tube lasted longer and priced a little lower. My first bottle lasted about 3 months with daily showering. Wished the bottle was larger and wasn’t so expensive. Both scents smell lovely.

Bottom line: Barring the apocalypse, this is a **product I can't live without anymore**. Background: I switched to non-aluminum deodorant a few years ago. Yay! Then maybe a year ago I suddenly couldn't tolerate them anymore (read: skin rashes). Even super fabulous Native deodorant. 😥 (I went on an immunosuppressant right before this happened and wonder if it affected my body chemistry.) The solution: Started reading about AHA being used in deodorant, and tried this. Nothing short of miraculous, for me. I don't stink and my pits aren't full of constant rashes. I could kiss the R&D team that developed this. Small cons: 1. Yeah, it's pricey. TOTALLY worth it to give up something else every couple months to fit this in my budget, though. Also, I find it lasts longer than traditional deodorant. 2. It does make my pits sticky for a little while, but it dries. 🤷‍♀️ Maybe that's all roll-ons? I've never used a roll-on before this. Note on scents: I personally prefer the beachy clean (blue) to the serene clean (green). That's only because the serene clean is almost scentless to me. I have allergies so my sniffer doesn't work perfectly... so maybe it's just me. The blue definitely has a more discernible scent though.

The scent of the blue option is not great. Very chemical and overpowering. I’ve tried the white one and it’s much better.

I had to return it as it was an opened package received. The fact that I was unable to use it disappointed me, even though I was eager to use and review it.
