The dark green velvet is beautiful. Assembly was super easy and took less than a minute. I was a little worried about sitting on it, but it's fine. I wouldn't use it to sit on for long periods. It holds an amazing amount of stuff. Right now I've got 3 throw blankets, 2 sets of king size sheets, all my nail supplies, a large power station and a few other things in it with room to spare. I think it's a great gift idea since it comes in lots of colors and wasn't expensive at all, totally worth the money. I have a king size bed and was worried this would be too small but it works.

I purchased the gray velvet color. I needed a bench to complete the seating area in my bedroom. It works perfectly for the area. It seems pretty sturdy but I wouldn't use it for regular use seating. It has lots of room inside for storage & looks great. It doesn't look cheap even with the super low price tag. I would definitely recommend this.

I’m always dubious about these folded flat to ship things. But this one is very strong. Sets up in moments, and holds its shape well. Can store a lot too. Attractive bench in my room, and I sit on it all the time, it woes not wiggle or feel flimsy in any way. Excellent value for money.

Love the size and pleasantly surprised that it was velvet (I didn't notice it saying that in the description but I probably missed it). Only thing I don't care for is the metal divider piece keeps sliding down on me but wish it had 2 more for the sides to make it more sturdy. Offer than that, it's great! Nice and deep. I know it says it holds some weight but afraid to try sitting on it. Quality seems good though. Love the material. Versatility is good as well. Recommend overall. Got it to go with my new bed set, rug and pictures.

Pretty forest green velvety storage ottoman. This is the third storage ottoman I've purchased and they're great for storing extra clothes or blankets! I like to get colors that accentuate other colors used in a room and this one was so wonderful, as I had wallpaper with pink and green and a tapestry as well. Big bonus is that you can sit on the ottoman! Nice inexpensive piece of furniture!

With all these amazing reviews people left for this, I was super excited! And I got it, and wasn’t impressed. For paying $85, I figured it would be less of a foldable item and more of a sturdy one. I mean, yes the pictures are nice and it matches my bed perfectly, and it feels strong enough for me to sit on it. But it’s only the lid that’s actually thick, strong wood - the rest is foldable fabric- and since it’s no moldable, it actually takes a little effort to get the lid on properly since it’s not solid enough to keep shape on its own. Ultimately because it looks so good with my bed, I’m happy with it. But not as happy as I hoped I’d be. Also for all those numnuts who said they just got a lid, THE BOX IS FOLDED IN THE LID. Geez… 😂

Elegant and sturdy. This velvet bench is beautiful, very soft to the touch, and supports weight without any issues. It is ideal for both decorating and organizing the room at the same time.
