Durable and compact. I always get Fenix products when I can. This is by far the best EDC light I’ve owned. Super bright and that magnet always comes in handy. Stay away from re-chargeable lights only. Having the option to change out the battery when your out in the field is a must. The last thing you want is for your light to die and your still a 30minute walk from camp.

Works well, is very compact and has a solid design. I have purchased a number of Fenix flashlights and I have never been disappointed by this brand. This small little pocket flashlight is no exception. It is a very well thought out design (the magnetic tail cap, easily stands on it’s end, adjustable pocket clip that makes finding the power switch by feel very easy, the lockout power button, the intense brightness, etc…) that makes it a delight to own & use. I use mine everyday and I’ve never been disappointed by it. It has excellent battery life and plenty of brightness levels to choose from for any task. I would definitely purchase this again. It feels solid and based upon my prior experience with this brand, I expect it to last for many, many years.

Not a great everyday carry despite its small size. Super bright but also gets super hot. Burned a hole in my pants pocket. The on/off button is a long push (1 sec) but it’s not recessed at all and may even protrude slightly. (Copper looking part in pic). Way too easy to inadvertently turn on. Otherwise it seems really well made.

Edited to add: I looked into warranty options & it turns out Fenix has an excellent return/replace policy so I will attempt to send it in for a repair and see how it goes. I submitted a form on their website to initiate the process but have not heard back yet several business days later. Will keep posted. - Very nice light. Beautiful & quality construction, good range of settings, comfortably compact & portable, strong clip, good impact resistance to falls/drops, magnet in base a nice touch. A very well thought out item that I am pleased to own & use. On the flip side — the controls are a little hairy (strobe will occasionally activate when turning on or off, or sometimes have to fight with the lock feature when turning on/off), the little rubber flap that covers the charging port seems like a liability & doomed to fail well before the rest of the light, and it seems a little prone to accidental ons (though there is a nice range of lock options to prevent that, and they work well more or less). Unfortunately & most importantly though, it seems to have stopped taking a charge after 2 months (got on Sept 6) and is now a fancy paperweight. :( I did like this light quite a bit & will most likely get a replacement, but I disliked the little nagging issues it has enough that I’ll spend a little time considering alternatives before I rush off & do so. all in all, THANKS FENIX !!!!!! for a great range of products (and also for standing behind them). Fenix in my opinion makes the best lights out there and this one is no exception. Here are a few great things going for this light that makes it the perfect everyday carry light: 1. Clip that clips to your pocket or the brim of your hat and a magnetic tail for hands free operation. 2. Super solid construction, you can feel the quality. 3. Excellent brightness and color. Quality led emitter that kicks out a natural white light instead of the painful blue light cheap led normally emit. 4. Double lock out feature, double clicking the button and twisting the clip to block the button ensures no accidental turning of light in your pocket or pack draining the battery. 5. Its backed by a very strong warranty from a dependable company. It comes with a lanyard but I put my own to give myself a better purchase on this small light due to my slightly larger than average hands.

Very bright, very small. Magnetic end is handy. Steep learning curve on the double tap to disable but I don't mind it.

All the praise this brand of light gets, but I'm having a completely opposite experience. I'm a fuel tanker driver and I work nights. Sometimes the gas stations aren't well lit, so I wanted a small flashlight I can carry in my pocket or clip to my hat brim. This one seemed perfect, however the on/off button is severely finicky. Sometimes I press and hold and it comes right on, but most of the time I stand there fooling around with it, trying to get it to turn on, wasting precious time. I wasted 60 bucks on a device that infuriates me. I've almost tossed it in the trash several times, but can't seem to part with this useless product. Instead, it will RIP in my junk drawer forever. My search for the perfect light continues...
