Nice quality, no damage, fast delivery
I wanted a combination square with a longer ruler for bigger projects. This was cheaper than at local home supply store but just as high quality and good packaging. It is at least as accurate as every other combination square I have bought. If you are looking for a combination square with a longer ruler, I highly recommend this one. This unit was cheaper than buying just a new ruler for my existing squares.

Very sturdy
Excellent build, strong construction different for the rest. I am a Joiner and I've been using compound squares for over 30 years and I have to say this is the best construction I ever used. I recommend this.

Great for the price.
Very square and works well enough. Easy to tighten and adjust but is firm enough that it doesn’t feel like it’s gonna go out of square anytime soon.

Good quality
The only gripe I have is the etches for the measurements are not really deep enough for a tool of this quality. Sooner or later I will have to replace the rule. I still give it 5 stars because the etches are certainly deeper than most other brands and the rule is very good quality anyway. The rest of the item is also great quality and nothing less than you would normally expect from this USA brand. The item is beautifully machined, accurate, crisp, clean lines with a good quality and easily visible spirit level and reliable brass screws, good quality steel spring and pins. Nothing annoys more than bad quality springs and steel which rusts easily, this tool is not one of those, you can buy with great confidence.

Metal frame and 16 inches of working length.
This replaced a like device that was made with a plastic frame instead of metal. It lasted for more than 20 years but got stepped on. This one will outlast the old one because the frame is made of metal and no matter the hazards will not break. It is also 16 inches long compared to the old ones 12 inches so less maneuvering on longer cuts.

Well made
This tool seems to be well made. The numbers on the ruler are easy to read. The square locks in very well and slides easily on the ruler. Once locked down, it stays square without any noticeable play.
