Natural Abaca Fiber Large Wallet

I do a lot of driving for my career and need to carry multiple IDs with me. In the past, nylon, leather, and other fabrics would sweat and the wallet would be ruined. Fast forward 30 days later and this wallet has held up. I am so impressed that I’ve ordered another for my son

I got this wallet to replace a very similar hemp wallet which lasted many years. Even though it is laid out the same as the hemp wallet, It is a little bigger than the hemp (about 10% bigger) -- which hasn't been a problem, but it is definitely bigger which could cause some folks problems. The positive thing about the size is that it is easier to get my drivers license out of the window pocket--with the hemp it was tight and difficult to remove. The other thing is that the closure is the opposite of the hemp, which drives me nuts. The hemp closes left flap over the right flap. This wallet closes right flap over left flap. When you've been in the habit of starting to close a wallet a certain way without thinking, it is annoying that I have to "think" prior to closing, to get it right the first time. It's not the fault of the wallet--it's me. But it is annoying none the less. The color is more yellow (less orange). I wanted to get red, but they were out of stock. Not crazy about the color--it picks up dirt and is looking dirty. I haven't tried washing it, though I will soon. The quality seems quite good and I anticipate it will hold up well over several years. I give it 4 stars because of the larger than expected size and the color being yellow--not orange--and that it is looking dirty already.

Looks and feels nice, but the compartments for all cards are very tight, the wallet gets bulky very quickly without even adding that many cards and the zipper along the cash side is very thin and flimsy. I returned it right away and held down to my slim wallet which holds a lot more and doesn’t look like I’m carrying something so bulky in my pocket.

Plenty of space for the average person. Strong Velcro. Color very distinct, so you are less likely to get it mixed up with other stuff or picked up by someone else Hence, I bought four of them, in different colors.

I bought this as a Christmas gift and it lasted 7 months. A couple of months ago the thing you use to open and close the zipper; one came off and was lost (where the paper money can be placed) and the zipper pocket where the change goes broke and keeps coming off. It was no problem to just put it back on and squeeze the clasp shut, but the zipper broke. When you try to close it it opens up, it doesn't stay shut so its off track and too small to fix. As you can see in the picture the tip of the holder broke off as well. Oh well, I guess I got what I paid for! I took the the holder off the small change pocket and put it on the large zipper on the back until the new wallet gets here. The velcro held up though!
