Not bad
I'm a new violinist with fat fingers , so I bought this to modify to a 4 string. figured I do it on a inexpensive one, I made new slots in the nut , used a 4 string bridge , tailpiece and wa la my fingers don't hit the other strings. Violin sounds decent a nice mellow sound. And appears to be decently made. I'll stain it soon not sure what color.

Not bad for low end violin
My main reason for purchasing was to be a canvas for my woodburning art. The violin DOESN'T come with all 5 fine tuners as shown in there photographs. Only one fine tuner on the E string. Made an excellent canvas! I also play the 5 string violin, so I may need to *update* in the future.
