Taters are good
This item was already trash when it was manufactured, it should have been burned directly after making, I doubt it would even make good fuel. It is too springy, won't lift more than a dead fish or leaf, forget moving small rocks or landscaping. And above all, it hurt my fingers and hand every time I used it until today, when I got frustrated and smashed it on the floor. Very satisfying, the best use I've had out of this. Have fun.

Good product-Not metal so NO RUST-no contamination.A bit fragile but shouldn’t break with common use
First one arrived broken. It is made out of plastic so it is a bit fragile, but for common use in an aquarium, it shouldn’t ever break as long as it survives shipment. They are very long! This is a great thing except for the fact that I have a wood canopy cover over my aquarium so they actually ended up being a bit longer than I expected, but these ARE a good product. They are not metal so they WILL NOT RUST- This is a very big positive. No rust means no contamination or toxicity in your aquarium. I called amazon about the first ones arriving broken and they refunded and let me order them again. Great customer service as always. I do highly recommend. It’s a good product for the cost and use.

Aquarium Tongs
Cheap junk. Clunky operation at best, usually just jammed up. Tossed in trash, not worth the hassle of dealing with a return.

Works fine
The length is good for my 36 gal aquarium. It is kind of hard to reach small places as the 'pincher' is a bit big. Also it seems a bit flimsy, just hope it lasts but really no problem yet but it's still new.

Just OK
They are just, OK. The plastic is a bit flimsy so I do feel I need to be careful not to break them. The claws grab big things like plants pretty well but they do not close tightly enough to grip really fine things like a piece of hair. I modified mine by wrapping a rubber band around each side of the claw so it now has a rubber grip and I am now able to grab hair or anything else really small that I need to get at. These are clearly not made to last, but they are getting the job done for me for now.

Not a tight interfacing fit at the pickups.
I purchased this to help with a Green Hair Algae outbreak in my 90 gallon Marine Aquarium. The intended use was to pluck pieces of Green Hair Algae from the Rocks. The interface of the two jaws is not parallel, and the "teeth" do not come together any further than rhe very tip of the tongs. The devise seems to be made of all plastic, which is good for a Salt Water Aquarium, but it will have to be highly modified to be able to grasp Hair Algae. Also, the device needs quite a bit of force at the handle end to grasp anything at the tool end. I cannot imagine using this to attempt to move delicate Corals, or anything else with any degree of precision or delicate touch. Basically, it's cheap CCPWare. I cannot recommend spending money on this device.

Pretty good
Not sure if it's possible to make a product like this for a reef tank without rusting parts...But I've had this for several months...its long enough for the tank, and I've never washed it, and no sign of rust anywhere. The grip mechanism is a plastic wire, so not the best grip, but sufficient for feeding and grabbing crabs out when you've had enough of them bothering your prized corals....
