First, these routers don't come with any SMARTnet contract - which you might need if deploying these routers for production / business purposes. For development or home purposes, SMARTnet might not be needed. These routers ship with IOS-XE version 17.03. If you check Cisco's support website, there are tons of documentation available that delve into every possible feature. At last count, I have over 150 manuals covering everything from Software Configuration to IP Multicast. The web interface is nice and good enough for basic features but a whole truckload of features are only accessible via CLI. I'd also note that this router takes up to 3 minutes to fully reboot. Fortunately, this router has a console port where you can monitor the reboot as it happens. If you want software updates or Security/VPN features, look into a SMARTnet contract and a software upgrade. Otherwise, you are golden. I own two of these and they play quite well with BGP, ISIS, OSPF, IPv4, IPv6, and more. One final note - they work well with Hurricane Electric IPv6 Tunnel Broker. I'm happy with these routers but wish I could have rolled in a SMARTnet contract with purchase.
