An absolutely brilliant tablet
After some research and reviews of tablets I have found this small gem of a tablet (I'm actually writing this reviews from that) it's great if you want just a good tablet for media consumption and very light gaming, it may take a second to open the apps but everything works without freezes or delays, and the battery last pretty long, for this price it's probably one of the best tablets that you can buy at the moment.

excellent value for money
Great screen, excellent sound quality, as easy to use as my phone. The battery life is exceptional - i can watch several hours of streaming using my phone as a hotspot and still have over 75% of the battery left. I only need to charge it every 3-4 days. I work nights and use it during quiet periods at work to watch disney+ netflix etc. If i have any criticism it's the stupid screen gesture thing it comes set up with. To return it to the usual 3 buttons you have on an android phone screen is crazily and cryptically buried in menus. Even if you search for the right thing it doesn't return the right page and you really have to root around to find the setting which is under an identical heading for the setting that doesn't contain it. I have no idea why. Once set to normal android mode operating it is much simpler as I found the gesture thing unreliable and sluggish. The other criticism is that you cannot change the launcher, meaning you cannot customise icons. I tried installing Microsoft launcher as on my phone and whilst it works, after 30 seconds or so it reverts by itself to its own Lenovo launcher, resetting any changes you have made in a different launcher. That's all kind of by the by though as for the price - I paid £150 for "used -like new" and it was actually brand new and sealed in the box with the film still on the screen so for the price a real bargain. I chose it over a Kindle Fire HD which would have been the perfect size as i was worried about not being able to get certain apps as they don't use the normal Google Play Store. I'd seen videos about installing them as apks but I didn't want the hassle. Shame as an 8" screen would have been perfect for me. Never mind, this screen is great and the sound is plenty good enough and loud enough. It's pretty quick and responsive once you have got all the various updates installed. I haven't noticed any lag that some reviewers have spoken of. OK it's not ultra responsive in an instant with zero delay like a flagship phone but it's by no means slow or laggy and I certainly wouldn't pay 3x as much for that split second faster response, esp as I only need it for streaming. I've watched a star wars movie on disney+, streamed the darts premier league from Sky Sports app, watched Youtube videos etc all very happily. Highly recommend this tablet.

REVIEW: Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (3rd Gen) 10.61 Inch 2K Tablet – (Octa-Core 2GHz, 4GB RAM, 128GB
Good, value-for-money tablet that, whilst not an exceptionally fast machine, is more than adequate for a reliable, solid, well-functioned machine. The screen quality is very good (incl. for movies) and, via the Google Play / Store one has a vast number of applications one can access. For work / play / both it's an easy recommendation. Android 12 is not a major advance on prior operating systems but generally functions well. Advice is to go for AT LEAST 64 GB of on-board storage (ideally 128GB) as one uses up storage very quickly with the increasingly larger app's one needs to use. Good advice, this ... take note. It's thin, elegant and whilst not featherweight, is light enough to easily carry around. It also has a variety of cheap, value-for-money covers to protect it which one can easily purchase. I can recommend buying this product easily if one wishes for a solid, good, average performance tablet. Hard to go wrong here.

It works like a laptop
I bought it to read emails and some excel, word work when I am on trains and travel. It is super fast for those tasks movies from Amazon prime and Netflix amazing quality. Battery life when watching movies is at decent value more than 12 hours. I am impressed even on gaming Asphalt 9 at decent speed. I am impressed with 1) quality of images. 2) for the price tablet with proper pen I could markup architectural drawings (pdf) on site very accurate and fast. 3) The sound quality is amazing unbelievable and mutch better from my smartphone that is 5 to 6 times more expensive. 4) super light and thin 5) reading long hours nice I do not use the camera for photos or videos but I sused for meetings Teams or zoom and the quality was acceptable.

Great for a low budget tablet
Bought 4 to use at work, so staff can work reading instruction sheets/procedures direct from the server at their benches. The greyscale is great for this. Also being used as an audio device thanks to the 3.5mm socket and fm radio. At setup you can plug your mobile (motorola in my case) direct via a usbc to usbc cable and transfer all your apps bar the protected ones, I've paired the 2 devices and this device then shows up for 2FA and messages as I've placed it directly under the PC screen. Take off all the silly games, put in a file manager (XFolder here) and AV. Device updated to Android 13 at setup and it is very much a stock android experience. Display is crisp and third party pens will work for navigation (good if you have fat fingers). Will also pair with BT keyboards. All in all, satisfied customer.

Easy android tablet
Brilliant tablet! This is the first one we've ever bought and so glad we bought this one. Battery life is brilliant, easy to use, good picture quality for streaming from apps and has some excellent settings, eg turning off blue light at specific times and many other features. For the price of this tablet and what you get, it's brilliant

TOTAL DESPAIR
I bought this in August last year. It was primarily to be able to remotely monitor CCTV. I am an octogenarian with a 7 out of 10 capacity with technology. I don't want/need a smartphone, so got this. It is handy for doing its job, and handy for instant browsing (I am writing this on its big brother, my Lenovo laptop. So far so good with this one, which is also fairly new...) The tablet completely freezes if I try to open a PDF. I've isolated the problem to this. I chose the 'open once' option and it brings the doc up, but it won't scroll, -then the screen shuts down. Last time I did the Volume Down/hold Shut Down to force shut down, and after about 2 minutes, it finally complied. Not so this date. I cannot shut it down; it has been running for nearly three hours now, and is completely frozen: the screensaver comes up with the shut down/restart, but nothing works. As an older person I have to tell you that there is so much advice and information available nowadays --- but no real help. I suppose I wait for battery power to run out? I don't know. This much I DO know: I cannot possibly recommend this thing. It was meant to assist with security. It has done the opposite. It's vile. UPDATE: I was advised by an IT person who has been in technology since computers were wound up with a handle! A tablet; this Lenovo tablet? DOES sometimes freeze when attempting to open a PDF as an attachment to an email. The advice is to move to Folder; then open. My advice from this veteran, was to let the battery run flat, then fully recharge and 'cold start'. My problem was that the tablet had just been fully charged, and with my medium level usage, -and now no usage at all; the battery would take about 6 days to deplete. Lenovo advises to press 'volume down' and 'power off' simultaneously, -this 'helpful' and totally ineffective advice showing on the screen. I decided to press 'off' (thumb) - 'volume down' (index finger) - and 'power off' (other hand!). It worked! A message appeared that it was shutting down (after two false starts removing my 'power off' finger to read the damn.ed message, which promptly thus disappeared stopping the shutdown). So? it is a THREE step process, not TWO step as Lenovo advises. THANKS FOR NOTHING LENOVO.
