These are terrific little head torches. Very flexible - can have flood, beam or red light at any intensity, the controls are comprehensive so with a bit of practice you'll get the full benefit of the various modes. The "tap the side for full brightness" is genius, and there's a set of blue LEDs to show you how much battery is left when you turn the lamp off. Very powerful beam. Red light brilliant for not dazzling others while you're working. Works fine with rechargeable AAAs. Priced perfectly as a balance between function and expense for most users. Has been useful for DIY and for changing a wheel miles from any streetlights. Fabulous as a general camping accessory, where the flood light is useful for general illumination. Takes very little space in a bag. Feels well made and durable. Recommended.

Great little light with a lot of power. Have only used it with Energizer Ultimate Lithium AAA batteries. Useful both on the campsite and around the house and garden. It’s pretty sturdy, but I wish it came with a carry case or pouch. Apart from that perfect. Does exactly what I wanted it to. Highly recommend.

I had to wait a little longer for this item; but, the wait was worth it. As an amateur astronomer, I needed something hands-free with a red light. This baby has a red light and two white lights of differing stregnths. The head strap is comfortable to wear and easy to operate, once you're familiar with it. Would definitely recommend, and not just for astronomers.

I use this for astronomy. Its great as you can go direct to red. I've had to tape over the blue LED battery indicators as they sneak into my peripheral vision, but apart from that great head torch.

Lovely headtorch. Bright and easy to wear, with all the functions you could need. Far simpler and more intuitive than some competitors products.

As always black diamond head torches are the way forward, I prefer the battery ones instead of the rechargeable ones, this head torches is perfect any.

シンプルでとても使いやすいところが気に入りました。明るくて便利。コンパクトで良いと思います。

Acheté pour l'aspect "garder sa vision nocturne". Ce qui est génial: a) lumière rouge, gardée en mémoire. 2 intensités. b) verrouillage, pour éviter tout appui intempestif dans un sac, un rangement. c) l'intensité, 400 lumens, c'est vraiment un minimum plutôt recommandé. Les gros problèmes: a) quand on est en lumière rouge, on garde sur la tête, on éteint. On a la lumière bleue indication des 3 diodes qui nous flinguent la vision. Comment ça n'a pas été testé??? b) le verrouillage: quand on déverrouille, la lampe s'allume brièvement en lumière blanche. Là encore, ça flingue la vision nocturne. Bref, deux gros points bloquants sur ce modèle. Obligé de fiche du chatterton noir sur les diodes et de trouver une manière pour déverrouiller la lampe sans la garder sur la tête. Pas normal qu'on doive combler ces problèmes.

Ich bin mit der Black Diamond Spot 400 sehr zufrieden. Die Stirnlampe macht einen hochwertigen und robusten Eindruck, sitzt angenehm am Kopf und lässt sich gut einstellen. Die Helligkeit ist für meine Zwecke absolut ausreichend und die Bedienung funktioniert unkompliziert. Besonders angenehm finde ich, dass man die Hände frei hat und trotzdem eine gute Ausleuchtung bekommt – gerade draußen oder wenn man im Dunkeln etwas erledigen möchte, sehr praktisch. Insgesamt eine zuverlässige Stirnlampe mit guter Lichtleistung. Ich würde sie wieder kaufen und kann sie weiterempfehlen.
