For senior-year undergraduate and first-year graduate courses in robotics. An intuitive introduction to robotic theory and application Since its original publication in 1986, Craig’s Introduction to Robotics: Mechanics and Control has been the leading textbook for teaching robotics at the university level. Blending traditional mechanical engineering material with computer science and control theoretical concepts, the text covers a range of topics, including rigid-body transformations, forward and inverse positional kinematics, velocities and Jacobians of linkages, dynamics, linear and non-linear control, force control methodologies, mechanical design aspects, and robotic programming. The 4th Edition features a balance of application and theory, introducing the science and engineering of mechanical manipulation--establishing and building on foundational understanding of mechanics, control theory, and computer science. With an emphasis on computational aspects of problems, the text aims to present material in a simple, intuitive way. Review: Easy to follow - We bought this book for the lab. This book is easy to follow with very basic linear algebra. It is about 40-60 hours to go through it thoroughly ~twice. Review: Skips too many steps - This book is very hard to follow. Skips lots of steps in the examples to the point that they are extremely hard to follow. Most problems reference figures from chapters past, causing you to have to flip back and forth in the book constantly which is super annoying. I will sell this book immediately after i finish my course...

Not the Condition Quality I Purchased
I purchased a “New” textbook, but received a lower quality book. Corners are bent. One cover corner is stained. The cover is dirty.

Save money
My class need the material. It will be much more expensive if I have to buy one. Renting the book really helps and the process is very easy. The book is in good condition.
