Works so much better than the Harbor Freight $12 pump
I thought I would try and go cheap by purchasing the knockoff pump at Harbor Freight. $12 spent on a hard lesson learned. Oh well. So I decided to risk it and go wit the Tera Pump. That solved my problem. No gas on my hands, no gas leaks, worked great. I worry about the durability of the hose, but so far, so good. I use this with a Dura Max 14 rolling gallon can and it works great. I just lay the Dura Max down on it back and turn on the pump. I would give it 5 stars, but I think this unit should be in the $25-35 price range. Adding an auto-shutoff would definitely make it that much better. I am happy that I don't have gas all over me when I use it.

The nozzle this pump comes with is great.
The reason I was interested in this pump vs some of thee others, is the nozzle. Most similar pumps don't even have a nozzle. Its just a tube that ends, and for a lot of uses, thats just fine. I was looking for something that could: 1. Stop fluid flow at the handle (and you dont have to stop the pump). 2. Something that had a nozzle that could easy open the gas hatch on most cars (if you didnt notice on your car there is a metal flap on the inside of where you put gas in your car, and its hard to use a flexible tube to fill it). 3. Something that could lock open so you dont have to hold it the whole time. This pump does all of those things. Again, the nozzle really sells this one. What decides what pump you should buy is your use case. Think about what you intend to use it for, and what pieces or fittings would make that the easiest. This one is great for filling gas tanks or really anything, I will touch on its weak points in a minute. Now the weak point is going to depend on your use case, but I will use some of what I might use this for as an example. The biggest weak point for me is that the end with the pump (the end that goes in the fluid your pumping) is a solid plastic piece. Sure in big or deep containers this is actually a good thing, but in smaller gas containers for instance, I would rather have the pump connected to a flexible tube. If you try to use this in a small container, sure it will work, but its going to stick out and be loose. In fact as the container empties, I can see this even tipping it over. Whereas for bigger containers a solid stem going to the pump is much easier to deal with. So again I cant stress how much it depends on you use case. The reason I took off a star is the price. This is similar to a lot of the other pumps out there, and they are all made out of cheap materials. The only distinguishing feature here is that nozzle. I paid less for a similar one that had a flexible tube going to the pump and came with AAA battery converters, which for the price would have been nice to see here. A lot of stores dont even carry D batteries anymore (although in my opinion it is the better way to run these). From my experience the AAA mod runs a tad faster, but you chew through batteries quick. Overall this is a good pump that does exactly what it advertises. It works pretty much the same as all the similar ones. The big benefit of this one is that nozzle. Even though its a little overpriced I could still suggest this given the right use case.

This was perfect for my needs. It is much better than lifting and pouring fuel into my car without lifting the whole 5 gallon jug!

Useless
I thought this would be brilliant for my boat but… This might work in the USA, but in the uk the nozzle is too big to fit into a standard fuel can opening! Disappointed Pointless.
