This is a great device for accurately measuring gaps. I originally was looking for calipers but I didn’t want to spend that much on a tool that is going to inevitably be “borrowed” and never returned. This gap measure is inexpensive, has metric and imperial (standard) measurement units and honestly for my purposes work WAY better than calipers. Also since none of the other operators on my shift know what a treasure this is, they leave it in my tool pouch and look elsewhere for more familiar tools.
