Review: Accomplish Your Facebook Advertising Goals - A very helpful resource guide, The Complete Guide to Facebook Advertising by Brian Meert takes you step by step through how to create and manage your business and your business ads on Facebook. The guide offers many graphics and screenshots that take you through the process starting at making a Facebook profile and page to making and tracking business ads. There is also a comprehensive glossary in the back of the book and plenty of other resources to help you navigate your way through this field. The biggest strength to this book is the screenshot graphics that go through each process step by step with the pictures so you know exactly what each screen looks like and can follow along effortlessly. Each process is explained in its own step by step process so you don’t have to search for the way to start something and then flip through pages to find how to do the last part of it. Although it added to the page length, which may at first seem a bit intimidating, it is really just from the graphics and listing each process by itself. For example, it might be that to make an ad with a single image and to make a video ad start out the same way but the author has gone through each process from start to finish so you don’t need to dig for the information. This makes me feel more comfortable with trying to do a certain type of advertising and more confident that I can accomplish it. I love the resources that are included in the manual as well, especially the links to help from Facebook because I have spent hours in the past trying to find information to contact Facebook and just running in circles. There are also plenty of other outside sources to help you stay up to date in the field if you try to manage your account alone as well as a resource for you to arrange for a consultation from the author’s business which does these types of ads. The only really confusing part of the book for me was in the beginning. Chapter two was almost Japanese to me as it started explaining terms with no reference for where or how I was going to use them. I felt like this just should have been included in the glossary in the back of the book and the author could have used more context to explain those terms. I’m still not entirely sure about pixels although the were explained in context later in the book and helped me to clarify why they were so important as well as how to make them and install them, but after chapter two and until the later material I just wasn’t sure what it was all about. In the end, however, it was explained quite well. This is definitely a resource book you’ll want to have around if you are a business owner that utilizes Facebook, and honestly that is most businesses these days. It doesn’t matter if you are a small business or large chain, this book goes into the basics and how to really manage and make the most of the advertising you are paying for as well as how the whole system really works so it is a must have. The directions are so easy to understand and the pictures of the screens so you can match up what you are looking at is extremely helpful. Anyone, even those with limited knowledge on how to use social media, Facebook, and how to advertise will find it much easier to manage and accomplish your goals with! Review: This really is the complete guide to Facebook Advertising - I've been in digital marketing for nearly two decades and new ways of attracting customers pop up all the time. Not only does is dive deep into how Facebook Advertising works, it breaks down all the targeting and analytics behind it in a very easy to follow format. There's so much useful information here and Mr Meert managed to package it in a way that is so easy to understand. In this guide, you will learn how to create all the different ad formats that's available to you on Facebook's platform: Leads, Dynamic Product, Canvas, Collection, Slideshow, App Installs, and Offer Ads. Not only does this book show you how to set these ads up, the author tells you which one to set up and why so there's less trial and error on your part. I find this book easy to read
In the Introduction, Brian says that this book is user friendly with explanations, language that even his Mother could understand. It is true - I am his Mom & I agree! I find this book easy to read. The book is a very organized guide, with a step by step, how to approach - to FB advertising. The illustrations with screen shots help you to know that you are on track. I like that there is room at the bottom of each page to jot down notes of what is working for you. Reading this book has helped me to understand, appreciate the creativity, focus & design of ads I see on FB. I like the valuable tips in Chapter 12 & 13 that will make your ads stand out. I find I keep looking at the changing, eye catching video & carousel ads of something I have already purchased from Advertisemint! Take time to set up your ads correctly, but be willing to make changes as needed to sell your product. May your time with ad preparation, reward you with great success! Thanks Brian for sharing your education & knowledge, tips & tricks in this book, to help others be successful in advertising too! Great book Son! Love, Mom

Comprehensive yet easy and concise!
I have been a marketer for about 15 years now and have worked on both traditional and digital marketing campaigns. Social media continues to grow every year. It is also always changing, so I continually do what I can to stay on top of it. I actually took one of Brian Meert's in-person Facebook advertising workshops last year and found it to be so helpful. He was very knowledgable and provided great detail and insights. After the workshop I wanted to learn more so I looked on Amazon for a reference guide, but I wasn't all that impressed with the selection and recency of the available titles. I was so glad when I learned that Brian Meert published a book and I ordered it right away. This book covers everything - from what FB advertising is, to the lingo, to creating ads, etc. This book is a practical guide with many screenshots that make the content easy to visualize and understand. Anyone who is new to FB advertising or is familiar with it, but wants to really understand how it works will benefit from this book.

Good overview, much better for beginners than users with experience.
I received this book yesterday and have already finished it, which says something about its claim of 365 pages. I have very mixed feelings about it. Facebook Ad's have long been notorious as difficult to navigate and frustrating to use and I was excited that someone has written a guide to it. Overall it is an extremely comprehensive overview of how to navigate and set up your Ads. This is extremely helpful, however, these listed directions take up a LOT of space in the book. Combine that with the large type and the double spacing, and this really is a 150-page book. I get it though, they wanted it to have the heft and feel of a $35 book. I found myself picking up a few good tidbits here and there but overall this really was an instruction guide and not a guide filled with insights and strategies. A lot of his suggested strategies were pretty simple marketing techniques. If you are completely new to Facebook ADs this is worth every penny as it is a solid overview, for people with more experience on it you won't find as much as I would have hoped to increase my knowledge base. Also, theres a lot of typos and they can get on your nerves.

The book is extremely easy to understand
“The Complete Guide to Facebook Advertising” by Brian Meert is a comprehensive overview of how to use Facebook’s advertising tools to their fullest potential. Facebook has a large audience of users that fit into almost any category. These users are almost constantly checking their devices for new updates and Meert’s book allows businesses with any budget, large or small to take advantage of this clientele. The book is extremely easy to understand, with very basic instructions and illustrations. The instructions are step by step with guided photos, screenshots that show what your screen should look like as you are setting up ads for your business. This is extremely relevant in this day and age because people are no longer looking at newspapers and magazines for news. They are looking at their phones and other devices. Therefore, savy businesses need to tap the growing market and go where their customers are. This means going to social media and reaching Facebook’s two billion user potential. Meert also walks you through how to construct an eye-catching ad, how much text versus how many images and how to interpret your insights on your ads in order to re-evaluate what is working and what is not. This is definitely a needed text for the transitioning business from print ads to social media.

Whether you want to manage one account or multiple accounts, you learn the best practices while still being able to start from a beginner level and work your way to more complicated. Author Brian Meert runs a successful online advertising business and his expertise shows in the pages of this book. Very comprehensive
This book is invaluable to anyone who wants to start Facebook advertising, at any level. It can bring someone who's never run a Facebook ad to a pro status. I've only dabbled in FB ads myself, and I found this book incredibly enlightening. This book walks you through all of the steps to creating a successful Facebook ad campaign, no matter what you need to use the ads for. I liked that it could be used by anyone. I also found the pictures very helpful, and his expertise is invaluable. It incorporates Instagram ads as well, which the author says might be the future, so this is important. I particuarly enjoyed chapter 12 and 13 about making your ads stand out from the rest. I would recommend this book to someone who is looking to start with Facebook ads and doesn't know where to start. It's a great resource.

Lazily written, no hierarchy
This book is poorly written for its price. There's no hierarchy or chapters. Feels messy. Would not recommend. Perry's mershall book would be better if you are looking for a proper FB ads guidebook

Useless.
Utterly irredeemable. Should not have been published (or even self-published.) I would go into an extensive criticism but it simply isn't worth the effort.

NIchts Neues!
