POCOCO Galaxy Star Projector, Rechargeable, with 5K Discs, 2 Megapixel Lens

Hey fellow consumer! If you like getting tricked by scummy marketing tactics, then this product is for you! - But of course, made in china - USB-C port that ONLY works with the cable it comes with - Anti-value, almost criminal to charge these prices - Super cheap feel - Awful battery life, might as well not even have one - Lukewarm at BEST brightness - Most cartridges simply look terrible to look at But hey! It's not all doom and gloom. The black/white only cartridges aren't shabby and rotating feature is kinda cool. Overall, I'd give this a negative star if could.

Awesome when it works. Unfortunately, mine stopped working a month after we received it. I wrote to manufacturer and jumped through multiple hoops for them to send a replacement, which they did. Then that one broke after three months. I can't bring myself to go through the whole rigamarole again. Steer clear!

I was beyond excited for this product, from the company's story to the way it's demoed on their website, I wasn't expecting the world but something more of an authentic experience rather than the traditional laser grid "Star Machine." Tested for 2 hours in a windowless room with no ambient light. I wont walk through my experience, instead I'll just list what I encountered with this new package, sealed and delivered without damage. What they got right -Gorgeous equipment design, form and color gradient -Great company story and tie to inclusive beauty was appreciated -Great package design and marketing, the slides came packaged in their own organizer -Wide selection of actual space photography What they didn't get right -Thin low quality mold poured plastic with pouring/setting mistakes -Loose fitting pieces -Extremely light weight with no anchor weights in the base. When tilted to project at normal/intended range it will fall over. -Very loose focus ring, so loose engaging the rotation function made it slowly move out of focus while running. (Even the cheapest projectors/telescopes know the importance of tight focal mechanics especially if manual) -Scratched outer lense -Scratched inner lense (video attached) -Each slide was scratched or damaged -Low power 5w bulb, this alone makes the product more gimic than projector. Max lumens and projection range is incredibly low/short Why return instead of contacting customer service? Even barring the defects in production if I received this with no defects the quality of the device is incredibly low, especially for the price point. Their marketing team was effective at selling a version of their product that simply doesn't exist.

After a couple months it won't stay focused. Even if i turn off the rotation, it blurs within one minute. UPDATE: 5 months later and the unit no longer stays on for more than 5 seconds. Thing just doesn't work anymore.

Product would not charge. Got a replacement unit and the same issue occured. I found that only the provided cable can charge the projector, but none of the other many usb c cables we have around the house will work. The projector is quite good for the money (5 stars for sure), but the chosen usb c cable port is somehow altered and if you ever lose or damage the provided cable you will no longer be able to charge the projector. We did try a brand new usb c cable and that did not work.

This projector is an absolute disappointment and a complete waste of money. The moment I turned it on, it made an awful grinding noise on the rotation setting, which only got worse with use. This is completely unacceptable. I specifically bought this for therapy sessions, expecting a calm, relaxing atmosphere, and instead it delivers an obnoxious clicking and grinding sound that ruins the entire purpose of having it. It’s distracting, disturbing to others, and the exact opposite of what it should provide. I cannot believe a product advertised for relaxation would be this poorly made. Honestly, it feels cheap, defective, and unusable. I regret buying it and would absolutely not recommend it to anyone.

The lamp stopped rotating after a week it won’t stay on over an hour and the return policy is so terrible that I’m better off keeping it. Amazon offered a $30 dollar credit that I never got. Ad then they tried fixing it with a $10 dollar credit on Amazon products, for an item that cost $100 bucks. A total waste of money the cheaper projectors work much better and last longer

Bought this projector and all the slide packs thinking it would cast a wide projection. For the price, it is not worth it. Essentially if you want to overpay to project in your bedroom go for it but I wanted to project on a larger room. The clarity is lacking and it doesn’t cover a larger room.

This is a good product and I enjoy it, however I would have liked for it to be stocked in an Australian fulfilment centre for faster delivery, it took 2 months to come from the United States which is atrocious. They must operate at a snail pace over in the US and not realise or care that their is daily cargo flights from Los Angeles to Brisbane (nearest capital city to me). The extended delivery time really dented my enthusiasm for this product but I am glad it arrived eventually.

I’m absolutely in love with this projector! I chose the blue and pink gradient version, and it is even more beautiful in person. The colors create such a dreamy, immersive atmosphere and instantly transform the entire room into a gorgeous galaxy and starry sky. The image quality is incredibly crisp and clear, and I love that it can display either a static image or a rotating projection, which makes the experience even more immersive. I’ve used it in my bedroom, at my computer desk setup, and in the living room, and it looks beautiful in every space. Another thing I really appreciate is how quiet it is. It’s perfect for leaving on while relaxing or falling asleep without an annoying motor or distracting noise. The timer function is also such a great feature for bedtime since I can set it and let it turn off automatically. It’s amazing how much of a difference this little projector can make to the atmosphere of a room. Whether you want a cozy galaxy vibe for your bedroom, something magical for your desk setup, or an immersive effect in your living room, it works beautifully. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. Definitely one of my favorite additions to my space!

É bonito, a imagem é boa, mas o valor é alto pra experiência que é só legal

Do not purchase! Too expensive to play around with unreliable product and a support team that ghosts you. I bought this as a gift as a baby gift for a friend, but was disappointed to find out that the one I purchased didn’t rotate as advertised. I contacted support, and had my friend send a follow-up video of her going through the trouble shooting provided by the Pococo team. It still did not rotate. On June 5th, I was offered a replacement by the Pococo Amazon support team. I provided shipping details and thanked them. After not hearing back for a month, I contacted them on July 5th asking for shipping information. After hearing nothing, I then contacted them two more times on July 9th and July 14th. I continue to wait for a response. I spent a lot of time deciding on which projector to gift my friend. I liked the idea I could buy more slides to add her collection, but it rotating was a must. Keep looking - I’m also up for recommendations as I will need to replace this broken gift.
