Works A1 and easy to fit.
Really easy to install. Took me more time to drill holes than fit. Easy reading instructions. 3 wire input = 1. Permanent Live (red for me) 2. Switch live (yellow for me) and Blue - Nutural. Your old one should have the same. Simple screwed connections. I suggest you turn power off (normally off the lighting on your mains, but if unsure turn off whole of mains. Wire in and don't fit in wall just yet. Turn power on and test. If good, turn off power, take off unit, adjust very simple (but poor to read) timer screw to desired level 1-2 mins should do. Then go about fitting to duct and finish off the wiring. Really easy to put up and in. Not silent but very quiet and does the job A1. Recommended.

Decent quality, works very well, nice price
I have just received an fitted this fan, so I cannot comment on its longevity yet. What I have seen so far I do like. The fan it replaced was another make fitted by an electrician, it lasted just over a year then , it suddenly stopped working. I inspected it and found the large resistor on the timer circuit board had burnt out. I had a spare shower duct extractor fan I had bought for a project that never got off the ground, it was a completely different casing but used exactly the same timer circuit board, so I used it to replace the damaged one, 2 months later the fan stopped working again, this time it was the motor that burnt out. I know the days of fitting an extractor fan and it lasting 10 or so years before giving out are over, but a year? I would expect one to last at least 5, but with so many crappy generic types and poor quality imports where can get something decent that does the job, lasts for an acceptable time and is reasonably priced?. It seems all these fans use the same timer circuitry, so i'll be damned if I am going to spend £50 on something that uses the same parts as a £15 fan just because of a well marketed name. After looking around the market place I saw these Manrose fans have had excellent reviews, I went to B&Q and had a look inside one, I noticed they have put a terminal block in so you don't have to connect wires directly to the circuit board, also the circuit board itself seems to be a little different. The other thing is these are made in the UK, so if it is a bit of junk, I can visit a factory and shout at someone...... So compared to the rest it is well made, and a few design modifications have been made to make fitting easier, so I ordered one. It cost a lot less than off the self at B&Q, arrived quite quickly, well packed and with complete instructions, the cases of these things are all similar, and the slots in the case for the screws (instead of single holes) meant I could line it up with the old screw holes, fitting time was 3 minutes. the preset over run time was a little too short, so I adjusted it, put on the cover (the cover screws are secured in clips inside the case, another nice touch) and it works perfectly. Apparently Manrose do a silent model, I cant think why, if this one was any quieter you wouldn't even know it was on! So I am very skeptical, but like what i have got so far, I cant say I love it as it has to pass the acid test, will it last Well watch this space for updates, lets hope youl be waiting for many years.

Easy to fit, Noise level remains the same as the previous version but it was expected. Best choice with my budget

Reliable
Reliable, quiet and powerful enough. Easy to route the cable to the electrical connections. For reference, the slots are at the bottom and the terminals are on the top left (as you look at it)

Get what you pay for
Bought this fan September 2024 And find myself looking for a replacement. While it worked quite well and was quiet enough and easy to fit .That is until about a month ago . It’s started making a grating noise so I assume the bearings are shot. Now I realise it’s a budget item and all but it’s only lasted a little over 12 months .

Spedizione perfetta
