Product Description ------------------- Collection of the three 'Honey, I...' films starring Rick Moranis as eccentric inventor Wayne Szalinski. In 'Honey, I Shrunk the Kids' (1989), Szalinski's latest project is his attempt to develop a machine that will shrink things, but so far it only explodes things. When his kids knock a baseball through his laboratory window, the ball activates the machine, so that when they go to retrieve the ball they are shrunk to a quarter of an inch high. Wayne sees the mess but not his kids, and he inadvertently sweeps them into the dustbin... They must try to make their way downstairs to attract the attention of their children, braving hazards such as a float in a soap bubble and a c landing in a of dip along the way. .co.uk Review ------------- A deft balance between special effects, comedy, and family dynamics made Honey I Shrunk the Kids a hit for Disney and spawned both a string of video sequels and a subsequent TV series. Moranis is endearing as the bumbling inventor/her of the Szalinski family. He inadvertently shrinks his own children then throws them out with the t. They, along with the neighbour's kids, must journey back across their own backyard, now an enormous, dangerous distance, to get back to the right height. Much is done with the perils of the lawn, from a wild deluge from the sprinklers to a nasty encounter with the lawnmower and numerous encounters with gigantic insects.
