Works OK, but once you open the packaging it hardens within few weeks
Works OK, but once you open the packaging it hardens within few weeks. I tried storing it in freezer but it does not seem to extend its life much longer.

Good stuff
Not used this particular epoxy putty before, it's good stuff! It sets really hard more like cement rather than the more rubbery finish. Easy to use, as they all are. It also polished up quite well.

Recommended with reservations!
This is useful stuff. It arrives as two little tubes of gunk in plastic bags in a cardboard box. The idea is that you mix equal quantities of the stuff then mould it like clay and an hour or so later it sets. In practice its actually pretty tiring kneading until it is a smooth colour. It also leaks black colour so it's advisable to wear rubber gloves if you have any. Once mixed it is easy to apply although not particularly sticky. As it sets it sticks but it can be a little tricky getting it to stick in the first place. It's also fairly slow to set. Although solid in an hour it's really only becomes rock hard overnight. I also know for a fact that one of the rolls of gunk will go hard over extended time, making it impossible to mix, so you should aim to use it all in a few months if you can. You need to make sure that you properly seal the two bags with cable ties between uses, to get it to last as long as possible. It's useful but because of it's fairly limited life it turned out rather expensive for me. I can't think of anything else I would use in it's place, so I would buy it again. The only possible substitute is chemical mortar, which is a lot cheaper, a lot faster, but it can not be moulded like this stuff and chemical mortar would require an additional dye to achieve a colour other than "mortar". So recommended with reservations.

Can get very messy in use. Use disposable gloves where possible.
Best modded with the aid of using water. Sticks well to most hard materials but some keying may be required on extremely smooth surfaces. Can be easily moulded to shape and filed / sanded if needed within 24 to 36 hours. Gets harder the older it gets. I've used this to repair a camera lens that got dropped and smashed the filter thread with the aid of a filter covered in cling film among other things such as guttering, a burst pipe (outside) broken toys. One downside is don't ever expect to easily remove it once hardened.

Too grainy for miniatures
Fulfilled by amazon, so might not be an issue from other shippers? Despite seeing lots of recommendations for this online, I found that the milliput was far too grainy for minis, or for macro sculpts. Found that when trying to shape it, it breaks and splits very easily, and mending the tears is almost impossible. It also sticks to me, the desk, my tools etc., but not consistently, which makes it very hard to work with. Sometimes I can roll out multiple portions no problem, other times it leaves grains all over the desk. I suspect this might be due to it being an old batch? I saw similar behaviour in a very very old pack of standard milliput. Might not be an issue from non-amazon companies? Does set much stronger than I expected, which is a plus.
