Product Description ------------------- New Zealand Barley Grass Powder. Barley grass was one of the first cultivated cereal grains. This premium variant of Sevenhills Wholefoods' barley grass is grown in New Zealand on a local farm ally certified for over 20 years. Regarded as the finest variation, it is harvested at less than 30cm tall then immediately transported to a dehydration . Its moisture is reduced to about 4% to ensure the maximum a of Chlorophyll is maintained. The barley grass is then carefully milled into a very fine powder making it easier to dissolve in water. Barley grass is free of ens as ingredients; however there is a remote possibility of cross contamination by gluten if barley begins to develop . Sevenhills Wholefoods' farmers monitor the growth of leaves to eliminate this risk so products are considered gluten free.
