SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection - Classics (Xbox 360)

Pure indulgence, justified by the price I paid for my Sonic games originally. I bought this to get those games, I had none of the other games so seems like a waste but so much fun, even though my kids laugh at me. I remember the graphics being great and you can smooth and adjust the graphics on the games, in the setup so the quality is great. Who buys a 40 game multi disc just for 3 or 4 games.... that would be me.

Like so many of us, I had a sega when I was a kid and games like Sonic, Golden Axe, Alien Storm and Echo the Dolphin were highly entertaining. I think my favourite had to be Sonic though! As technology changes so rapidly and games get discontinued, I really missed these and was so amazed to find the Xbox 360 version and it doesn't disappoint - this has got all the old games we knew and loved and they aren't shortened versions - you get them from start to finish on one brilliant disc of fun packed nostalgia! If you are a fan of the old games, but in doubt about purchasing this, don't be - it really is highly recommended!

All the favourite from years ago

All of my favourite games growing up on one game, perfect! Ristar is just as amazing as I remembered. Worth so much more than £12. Especially considering most of these games were £40 each twenty odd years ago. A must have for any Sega lover. I absolutely love using the xbox controller, so nice and smooth compared to trying to use the stiff 20 year old controller. Then there's also the added task/motivation regarding achievements. 100% recommended!

Save your money, very poor quality, looks good, plays Demos for Sonic

Its okay if you want a sega throwback session, but honestly, the graphics are entirely the same as they were and when you're used to the newer gaming systems, these look terribly outdated. We actually returned our copy as it was faulty but I didn't ask for a replacement. Only recommended for the older generations who want to bring back some memories.

Great product, rated 5 stars to avoid screwing with ratings metrics. However this doesn't work in my US Xbox. Obvious in hindsight, but would have appreciated this being pointed out in the product description.

Me tomo la molestia de escribir esta reseña para apoyar a este vendedor, ya que antes de adquirir el producto estuve leyendo reseñas que eran bastante desalentadoras no porque el producto sea malo, sino que por ignorancia de muchas personas que no tienen en cuenta detalles importantes a la hora de comprar. Me explico: El juego es una importación inglesa como se especifica claramente en el anuncio y por lo tanto susceptible de estar en inglés, y por supuesto si tu consola no la compraste en Europa, es absurdo que compres este juego porque tu DVD no lo va a reconocer, ya que no pertenecerá a la región PAL. Dicho esto y aclarando que me ha venido totalmente en castellano, tiene un montón de juegos clásicos y otros a los que no había jugado ni sabía o me acordaba que existían. Hay juegos lanzados en 1995 y 1996 que son buenísimos para mi ( Comix zone, Vector man, etc ) ya que fueron los últimos años de vida de la generación de 16 bit y otros anteriores que me está encantando disfrutar y rejugar como Altered Beast, Aiien Storm, Dr Robotnik's Mean beam Machine, Ristar, Golden Axe, Kid Chamaleon, etc... Incluye muchos de rol si te gusta ese género como los de la saga Phantasy Star y otros. Todos los de Sonic, Strrets of Rage, Ecco... Trae 9 juegos bloqueados solamente, además de otros10 o 15 vídeos súper interesantes de los desarrolladores de los juegos. A mi personalmente me gusta la idea de los juegos bloqueados para "obligarte" un poco a jugar cosas que tal vez uno no conocía y que valen mucho la pena como está siendo en mi caso y lo disfruto. Si eres aficionado a los videojuegos y viviste la época de los 90 disfrutarás como un niño, o aunque no sea el caso seguramente también.
