Gorilla Epoxy 25ml

Gorilla make excellent products and I have purchased many for different jobs. I bought this specific epoxy glue to fix some findings on to jewellery projects without them falling off after being let down by several other recommended glues. I was very satisfied with this product for the job. This was easy to mix, bonded well and has stayed stuck. The dispenser made it easy to get the product out and the glue initially sets up in around 5 minutes as advertised. It does take around 24 hours to fully harden and cure so factor this in to your project time. It is strong and water resistant when dry. The glue dried clear and the texture was not an issue. I mixed it up on a bit of scrap plastic and used a toothpick to apply where it was needed. The smell was not overpowering. Price point at time of purchase was good. Recommended.

The working time is generous—about 5 minutes of open time—which allows you to reposition parts if needed. I found that the epoxy begins to set in around 5 minutes, with a noticeable firming up at 30 minutes. However, for full strength, you should clamp or support your project for 30 minutes and let it cure completely for 24 hours. For best results, make sure to follow the preparation instructions: clean and dry all surfaces thoroughly, and lightly sand smooth areas to improve adhesion. Also, if you’re working in a warmer environment, be aware that the epoxy might set a little faster, so plan accordingly. A couple of things to note: While this epoxy works excellently on ceramics, stone, metal, and many plastics (after proper surface prep), it isn’t recommended for PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene, or certain types of rubber. Also, mixing and application require a bit of attention—once the reaction starts, you won’t have the option to pause, so it’s best to have everything ready before you begin. All in all, if you’re looking for a reliable, crystal-clear epoxy that fills gaps and bonds uneven surfaces, this product is a solid choice. It’s been a game-changer for my household repairs, and I’d recommend it for crafting or any project where a strong, durable bond is needed.

The Gorilla Epoxy 25ml turned out to be a solid choice for small repairs and DIY projects around the house. The bond strength is impressive once it cures, it holds firmly on everything I’ve tried so far, including metal, plastic, and ceramics. I like the double-syringe design too; it keeps the resin and hardener separated and makes it easy to dispense equal amounts. That said, it does require a bit of patience. The working time is short, so you need to be ready to go as soon as you mix it, and the full cure takes longer than some quick epoxies. The cap can also get a bit sticky if you don’t clean it properly after each use. Overall, though, for the strength and reliability you get, it’s a great epoxy. Just be prepared for a little extra cleanup and setup. Would definitely buy again for tougher repair jobs.

This stuff is fantastic for securing items together, I've used it so far on airsoft red dot turrets of various alloys, and on plastics and if you mix it well enough for a minute before a thin application and applying the items together with presssure ie clamps you get a solid result. My once broken in pieces vector optics red dot sight now has a functional windage turret thanks to this product, I've also used it at work as a electronic repair technician to perform solid repairs on a few polymer products which needed bonding and reinforcement that could not have pressure applied and it's held up very well. One/if not the best general use epoxy i use and will happily recommended to anyone else! It mixes well, adhesion is fantastic and it can be applied to a wide range of products, for its value and price you'd be a silly sausage not to get some of this as it dries and cures fully very quickly and is very applicable and easy to use.

Sole came off my boot so I thought I'd try using this and I'm so glad I did. I wear these boots almost every day in all weathers and the sole has stood the test of time and endurance (4 months and still secure). I've also used the resin to fix together a broken garden ornament and a hand rail. Fantastic stuff and very easy to use. I would highly recommend

Used to fix a broken headlight support in a 2016 mini. BMW wanted £2000 to replace the light as the support arm had broken. This glued the support arm back together. Simple to use and saved 2k. So happy happy chappie.

Boy this stuff is good. Just as the name. It definitely is strong glue.

I have found that correct mixing is vital for fast setting and ultimate strength. The pack is designed as a double syringe such that equal parts of adhesive and hardener are dispensed at the same time, thus making the required 50/50 mix. This works OK the first time that you use it, but after that one of the holes is parially bunged up, so the mix goes all wrong. De-bunging and messing about wastes a lot of glue. With the corect mix the glue is strong and transparent, with an initial set around 5 - 10 minutes, but the bond remains weak until about 24 hours + has elapsed, as I've found to my cost on a couple of occasions. Stress the joint too early and you are back to square one. In summary it's OK, but not wonderful in my opinion.
