Well I liked this, and it seemed pretty sturdy, rolled well, packed nicely....then Jet2 massacred it. I mean I appreciate it's not Samsonites fault, but this seemed to suggest damage to the frame is a bit too easy. Nevertheless I'll probably buy the same as it's relatively cheap, and I didn't want the Antler hardeshell offering from Jet2

Love this bag! Lightweight and sturdy. Its nice the inside has a lighter colour lining so it's easy to find your things. Has travelled with me about 10 times now and looks good as new

What can i say about this suitcase, fantastic value for money, very good size, very sturdy which you expect from Samsonite, 4 wheels which makes it very easy to travel with very smooth, highly recommended.

If I'd been able to leave a zero star review, I would have done. This suitcase has a RRP of £200. I bought it three years ago. It has been on five trips and the TSA lock has now broken. I bought this item because of the TSA lock. It has a five year warranty so I checked out the Samsonite website to find out about repairing the zip and the website said it was too complicated to do it so I should contact customer service. I did and received this response: "Thank you for contacting Samsonite. I am sorry the spare part is out of stock at the moment, However this will be back on our system mid june. We will keep your case under review once back in stock I will send this out." I was surprised at the poor grammar in this email from a representative of a big company but there are also many grammatical errors on their website. I didn't understand why there was any mention of a spare part considering the website said the repair couldn't be done. I wrote back to point out that the website said the product should not be repaired but should be brought to a service place and this was the response, "I am sorry we do not advise to repair it yes your self however it is easy as u pull the hook up and slide out the old and slide new in and then press down. However if you are not comfortable to repair your self you are more then entitled to send to the service centre or visit any of our Samsonite store." What an excellent representation of the company! Absolute garbage and also to suggest that I bend the metal to remove and replace the pull tab and then bend it back would surely negate the warranty and would also weaken the zip pull. I would not recommend this suitcase or any product from this company and I will definitely not purchase from them again.

I bought this suitcase for a 3 week tour holiday involving long-haul flights, internal flight and coach transfers and a crowded bullet train journey. It survived unscathed and I was very pleased with my choice. For me, it offered the right blend of sufficient room, sturdiness and lightness (after initially considering a number of different suitcases in store, I realised there is a trade-off between lightness and strength). For a case this large, I found having 4 wheels made life much easier vs 2 wheels when wheeling the case in airports and up/down ramps. The true test will be how this suitcase wears after several trips (I've had my old, smaller 2 wheel Antler case for years, but it was too small and heavy for this trip), but it was ideal for this particular holiday.

I’m really disappointed with this Samsonite luggage. I just got it, and after only one flight, a part of the lock broke off. I expected much better quality from Samsonite, especially for the price. Definitely not the durability I was hoping for.

Solide et très légère, maniable avec ses 4 roues pivotantes, c'est ma valise de prédilection. De plus la toile est solide et ne s'abîme pas facilement malgré les frottements lors de voyages longs avec transferts. Avec une capacité importante pour le transport des affaires c'est un combiné idéal pour partir en vacances! Je recommande!

Ich habe mir die Koffer vor meinem Urlaub bestellt und bin wirklich sehr zufrieden. Sie sind angenehm leicht und lassen sich super einfach schieben, selbst wenn sie voll gepackt sind. Die Rollen laufen sehr ruhig und flüssig, was das Reisen deutlich entspannter macht besonders am Flughafen. Auch die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig und stabil. Der Innenraum ist gut aufgeteilt und bietet ausreichend Platz. Insgesamt machen die Koffer einen sehr robusten Eindruck und sehen zudem noch modern aus. Ich würde sie definitiv wieder kaufen und kann sie klar weiterempfehlen.

This is a lightweight yet spacious four-wheel luggage with one serious flaw: the zipper tips which slide into the combination lock are too thin, being prone to breakage. After one trip, the tip of one of the zippers broke in transit, rendering the luggage unlockable. Fortunately, Amazon honored the warranty and allowed me to return the luggage even after the 30-day return period.
