"Its the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary". The duration of my life has been lived shackled by the ignorant preconception that this quote was fundamentally flawed. "Surely, by definition if something's extraordinary, it is something which is wonderful, different and more often than not, complex. The quote, therefore, is an oxymoronic contradiction." At the tender age of 17, I've realised just how sheltered a life I've been living. In a moment of impetuous spontaneity, I typed 'stationary' into the search bar with the intention of purchasing the very first suggestion. This product was the lucky winner and I apathetically bought it. Four days later, it arrived. I picked up the package, curious as to the contents: by this point I had forgotten about the mindless purchase earlier that week. As I ripped open the packaging and removed this from inside - I was taken aback. At first, you'll be hit by just how genuine-looking the synthetic leather is... it took me a while to settle the internal battle between whether it was real or not. Next, you'll notice how satisfying the padded coating is to hold, not only is it comfortable in the hand but it screams "class". It's now time to open it. The aesthetics of the colourful selection of tabs is, admittedly, a little overwhelming initially, but with some deep breaths you'll start to truly marvel at the sight of such an array of vibrant, clean-cut sticky tabs. Your attention will then be drawn, after some time, to the 'memo notes'. These are slightly blander in colour, but I feel this is needed to maintain a balance between richness and modesty. Above which is a transparent, plastic pocket, perfect for adding a note to personalise the item. The portability and compactness is balanced faultlessly with usability and quality of content. So now, I sit at my desk that little bit prouder, appreciating the elegance of my new synthetic-leather coated compact organisation of sticky notes and tabs on a daily basis. This product, while so beautifully simple, cannot possibly be described as anything other than "extraordinary".

Post-it notes can be very expensive, but these sticky memos are fantastic value for money and do exactly what they are supposed to do. They stick well, are easy to use, and come neatly organised in a smart, leather-style holder with index tabs. Overall, a practical and cost-effective alternative to branded sticky notes.

Decent little stationary pot. I bought it years ago and the post-it notes are still sticky even now. They are very small though, so more useful for school students or people making small notes in work documents - for more general note taking, full-sized post-its are far more useful in my opinion.

Super cheap for what you get. Lets start off, for just a sticky memo notes holder, i don't think you could possibly get anything cooler. The leather case shows real quality and is in no way tacky. The index tabs all look really nice and organised with a good selection of colours. There are 4 memo note pads at the back (two stacked on each other) though these come out easily to replace them or whatever. On that point, all the contents inside the case can be pulled out and replaced which would be easy for the memo notes. The index tabs I'm sure you could find from a stationary story or supermarket so that shouldn't be a problem, As for the stickiness, its not like superglue or anything but at the end of the day, thats not what you want. They stick fine onto paper or anything else i could imagine you would use them on. I likee this so much that i actually find myself reading boring University statistics books just so i can use the index tabs to organise it into the sections i want. Cant fault the item and its something that you NEED on your desk,

Lovely little item, for the price you cannot argue with what you get. It's difficult to estimate how many tabs there are, by taking a clump of ten and using that to gauge the whole stack I would guess around 150 per colour. Which means there is roughly 1,200 tabs and I would say even the most miserly of estimates would still have it over 1,000, which is fantastic value. The post-its are also handy, a dainty little size designed more for adding side notes to a page rather than leaving them as reminders. The case is the final touch, very sturdy and by no means cheap. The faux leather on top has a nice finish and feel, with stitching around the border to lend it a refined look. It's not something you'd think cost £4 for sure. It would be nice to find the right size of tabs and post-its to refill the case but it's such good value I wouldn't blink at the prospect of buying another one. I almost want to buy a few to keep in reserve should they be no longer available in future.

Initially, I liked this case of sticky labels a lot and gave it 5*. But after 2 years, I'm frustrated. The labels don't stick for long. After a few weeks, they fell out of the books. And the labels still remaining in the pads have lost their stickiness. When I apply them somewhere, they curl up and within minutes, they drop off. So now I say 3*, not more. For short-term use - if you only want the labels to stick for a few days, and if you're going to use them all up within a few months of purchase - they're ok. Below is my original review. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I like this a lot. As a writer, I need to read many books for research, and I always need to mark pages I want to return to, and add notes so I find what I'm looking for. In the past, I inserted slips of paper into the books (which often fell out), folded down page corners (which left dog ears) and scribbled in the book's margins (making the book unsightly). Now I use sticky labels. I've tested quite a few kinds. This is the latest type I've tested, and possibly the best. PROS * Exactly the right size for marking pages to find the content again later. * The arrow shape is handy for pointing at the exact line I'm after. * Different colours allow colour-coding by subject, e.g. green for one topic and pink for another, so I when it comes to retrieving information, I can go straight to the subject matter I need. * Easy to write on. I used ballpoint pens and gel pens. Both worked well without smudging. * Sticks well. (n.b. I may update this in a few weeks if the stickiness doesn't last) * Comes off well without leaving traces * Practical protection for the stickers, much better than having them lie around lose in drawers and getting dirty * Smart-looking wallet-box * The wallet-box is quite sturdy * Besides the pointed strips, there are also pads of rectangular sticky labels, not shown in the product picture * Whereas many products have big packaging making the picture appear that there's more content than there really is, with this product there's actually more content than appears in the picture. CONS * There are indentations on the lid. I don't know if this happened during production or transport, but they won't come out. * The lid doesn't have a means to keep it shut - no magnet, tie or buckle - so it's not suitable for carrying in a back or taking on travels unless wrapped up. * It takes a bit of thought to write the right way round on the arrows. I always need to work out which way round to turn the holder so I write the right way round on the arrow. Often I get it wrong and have to throw that arrow way. * Once the first lot of labels are used up, it gets uncomfortable (and eventually impossible) to write on the labels while they are in the holder. So they need to be taken out to write on and inserted back later. It's not a big deal, just a minor inconvenience. PS: If the labels fall off the pages in a few weeks, I'll update my review and deduct stars.

If, like me, you have the urge to scribble all over academic library books then this product is for you. Now excuse me while I enthuse about stationery. Everything about this is well made: the storage case is solid and attractive, the paper the right weight, the adhesive is perfect (secure but peels away easily without damage) and there is actually a very large number of tabs so you don't have to be conservative in using them. There isn't much more I can say except that using this has seriously improved my essay preparation and cut down on that massive amount of time I used to spend thumbing through books trying to find a quote or idea I had read. I used the colours to correspond to Learning Outcomes I need to cover in in any given essay. The price was about £4 which was great value for such an essential study aid. Being a student nurse with lots of paperwork and skills to complete during my time on placement post it notes are a must have! This set is just brilliant, and for such a great price! You get so many sticky notes in avariety of colours and sizes. I find the arrow tabs particularly helpful for marking skills i need to complete in my placement book, and the different colours help me to colour code my bookmarks into sections aswell. The leathre case it all comes in aswell is fantastic, helps to keep the notes safe from being lost or damaged and looks very professional. Also once i finally make my way through all the sticky notes, i can just buy replacement notes to pop in the case. Deffinately recommend, particularly if you are a student. Best buy i have made yet i think!
